Thing is, you never were.

I never have. No.

Well yes, men can't.

It's as valid a statement as your belief that vaginoplasty serves no purpose.

It serves a purpose, as do ear perforations. they are vanity projects. Legal, but not things anyone else should pay for.

It is not a vagina. It does not make its wearer into a woman.

No, unless they're trans men.

The culture surrounding sex realist beliefs is also transphobic.

No, unless they're trans men.

Or biological women, as they are.

And the problem with eyeglasses or cataract surgery is they provide people with better eyesight. The horror! A body doesn't need eyesight to function.

Edited

No, but I do need my glasses. Otherwise I get debilitating headaches from straining to see properly. I also can't "hear" properly without them as I miss the visual clues of body language.

Anyway, the body is want would be slimmer, longer legs, no diabetes/pcos and feet that fit standard width shoes.

So you’re admitting we’re not bullying him? If only smart people get bullied then he’s perfectly safe isn’t he?

🤣

DeanElderberry · 05/05/2026 18:57

If transphobic means I don't want men in women's single sex spaces, then yes of course I am.

And that I don't want the very young lured into causing lifelong damage to their healthy bodies.

phoby phoby phobe phobe.

I have no idea what a parklife is.

It's got nothing to do with Vorsprung durch Technik, you know?

Will my titanium dental implants not be teeth ? I know they won't be natural teeth, but I think I still get to say they are my teeth ?

As always, the argument eventually slides into ‘you’re all meanies’ when all other attempts at misconstrued and confused biology falls apart in the cold light of facts and logic. Always.

Of course. But you know they're not natural teeth, which is fine.

No. They are not teeth.

They are dental implants.

You really do just see vaginas as fuck holes. You're a revolting misogynist.

I began this latest iteration of the thread saying that not only trans women have a vaginoplasty procedure. The delineation of 'validity' between trans and non-trans is the transphobia.

ThatFairy · 05/05/2026 19:04

I think I’d quite like “Phoby phoby phobe phobe” on a t-shirt.

From what I've read, the colon would not be the first choice. Peritoneal membrane would be the most common donor site.

Never let it be said that I am not prepared to read and learn. That certainly sounds like an interesting development. I mean, the fact that it means that the process of removing all hair follicles to avoid the dreaded prospect of a hairy vagina will no longer be necessary must be a winner, and then again, for those who want to hedge their bets and retain a cock and balls a peritoneal membrane option means not having to choose. It was a little sad that the report I read focussed on men who were having to have revisional surgery, I don’t know what the failure rate is for a neo vagina, but suspect it is fairly high.

Every single time, without fail.

It's not common in my experience, but complications do happen. I've known two women who had complications in their initial surgery requiring a revision.

Mean and disrespectful?

Or “robust and truthful” as we like to say in these parts.

Gosh there are very few, vanishing rare situations in which a woman would need a vagina surgically created and you come know several, in fact enough that mean you know two that have experienced rare complications? Or do you mean men not women?

ThatFairy · 05/05/2026 19:20

No @viques attacking them for reasoned responses and for responding to posts saying no one asked you and going off on tangents accusing things which was not what the poster said in a very angry manner and rude tone

onepostwonder · 05/05/2026 19:21

The specific procedure I underwent was a week following the identical one performed on a 15 year old, at the request of her medically trained parents who did not want any visible scaring or split thickness skin graphs used. I don't how common it became or not. But it is what it is.
