A vagina is a birth canal. It is a specialised organ. It joins the womb to the exterior world. It is self lubricating, it has its own micro biology, and can stretch to accommodate the passage of a baby during childbirth.

It is made out of completely different tissue to a “neo-vagina”(inverted penile tissue or colon) which is a dead end cavity that must be dilated to prevent it from healing up.

The neo-vagina is a cosmetic surgical construction; it has none of the natural functions of an actual vagina.

Except from the male perspective, you could stick a penis in it, so it presumably affords some validation to its owner. But some men will stick penis’s in almost any hole to see what happens.

A real woman’s vagina is so much more than a receptacle for a penis. But I guess if you are male, you might not have any comprehension of the vagina beyond penis receptacle. Hence transwomen think that’s all there is to it.

Male ignorance of our female reality. Sad really.

You can have bottom surgery self-lubricate too because as I mentioned, there are 7 different bottom surgeries which transgender people can choose and is why I mentioned medicine absorption.

if bolloxology was not already a word . . . .

It's like pataphysics, only biology and madder.

None of them result in a vagina, because that would be impossible.

DeanElderberry · 04/05/2026 15:18

How can anyone tell the difference between 'done proper research' and 'listened to my friend who like me is an idiot' and 'read some random ninny's post online'? They're all the same thing aren't they? AREN'T THEY?

No difference at all.

And I'm the wrong kind of woman anyway, I never stuff medicine up my chuff and I've never been given random unexpected pregnancy tests.

murasaki · 04/05/2026 15:20

A neovagina has more in common with the hole my cat made in my arm yesterday than with my actual vagina. Both will close up eventually and are not meant to be there.

Also, AmpleScroller's obsession with sexual stimulation is ew.

> I don’t know where you have got this rubbish from but it isn’t true and it isn’t science.

Oh boy. I would suggest you to look this up. Testicles/ovaries are very identical in its genome sequence.

> It’s like saying you can make a kidney into a liver.

That is not what I said and is near impossible. You're comparing multiple organs with different purposes with different genome sequences.

You are comparing organs with very different functions as well. Ovaries and testicles are utterly different.

Taztoy · 04/05/2026 15:21

has the surgery improved since last time I was educated on here, such that a neovagina doesn’t need stretching and lubrication?

murasaki · 04/05/2026 15:21

Do these new fangled ovaries produce large immobile gametes? Thought not. It's bollocks.

CassOle · 04/05/2026 15:22

Maybe @ThatAmpleScroller can answer my question as to why 'gender affirming care' isn't used to treat sex-based disorders such as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy?

I mean, if CRISPR can turn testicles into ovaries, this must surely be the way forwards?

Edited

I know.
I wonder if I get a toe removed and stitched onto my groin, I can go onto a men's forum and scream at them to acknowledge my actual penis.

Taztoy · 04/05/2026 15:22

And where does it lead to, given that a man doesn’t have a uterus?

do these men with neovaginas need to have a smear test as they might get cervical cancer?

Absolute wank. Where are you getting vaginal tissue from in a male? He doesn’t have any. It’s different tissue to the penis or colon. It’s a completely different organ.

You are confusing appearance with substance. As you have with embryonic development.

DeanElderberry · 04/05/2026 15:23

You lot with your science.

Next thing you'll be telling me my ear canals are different in function from the piercings I stick my earrings in. Do some research!

Well Willyboy thinks he's got a cervix.

DeanElderberry · 04/05/2026 15:24

Anyhow, I am going to empty the cats' litter tray AND give them some laxative.

Taztoy · 04/05/2026 15:24

I’m old. I didn’t do gcse biology. I did o levels. Maybe that’s where I’m going wrong.

murasaki · 04/05/2026 15:25

Every time you think the depths of stupidity have been plumbed, the Mariana Trench of TRA 'science' gets deeper.

I am sure I can also absorb medicine up my arse, it doesn’t make it a vagina.

Not sure absorbing medicine is one of the primary functions of a vagina. It’s a birth canal.

Indeed. They start off as indifferentiated gonads and develop into tested or ovaries, thanks to the SRY gene being present and functional (testes) or not (ovaries). That someone believes they can change state after this is 🤯

Unfortunately though, I think we're heading back into DSD land......

Noooooooooooooooooo 😬😬😬😬

To help avoid this (🤞) I'd like to derail my own contribution to that by acknowledging instead my memories of Buster Gonad and his unfeasibly large testicles. Here's to Viz.

I hate the way it’s called bottom surgery.

it’s not making an arsehole.

That's large ovaries to you 😂

spannasaurus · 04/05/2026 15:27

Was it David Lammy who thought men could grow a cervix?
