Just pointing this out, separate from any threads it may have been mentioned on, so people not involved on those threads can be aware.

Does anyone know where/when it will be published?

@TheNoWord who's this fella?

Raquelos · 14/04/2026 15:21

He's providing a pretty good everyman view for our side actually. Not expert in the language, but clear and commonsense in his position. I rolled my eyes a couple of times, but I like where he landed. It is probably important that this message is repeated as much as possible beyond my own core demographic of exasperated (and bloody angry) women.

'We are still infected by an ideology that doesnt want to face up to the simple but compelling findings of the SC'

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 15:21

TRA again. Point about common sense not always being true.

TRA again. Point about common sense not always being true.

She said common sense used to be that the earth was the centre of the universe!
She made a right fool of herself with that argument there!
As the NI man pointed out.

N Irish chap talking about the Windsor Framework. [Beyond my ken]

It is (for once, truly) very complicated unfortunately, as NI do not have our Equality Act so it’s all a bit messy as to what applies or does not. NI MPs (rightly) get pretty cross about it.

The image shows two women in a professional setting. The woman on the left has short gray hair, a light-colored jacket, and is smiling. The woman on the right has shoulder-length curly hair, a light-colored jacket, and appears engaged in conversation....

Equality laws in Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland has its own equality and discrimination laws, separate from those in Great Britain.

An Irish sea.border on gender identity would be untenable - Shannon

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 15:27

Govt must grasp this nettle. There is no escape route. A mattter of regret that the Stormont Assembly allows men to use women's loos. He says not in HoC.

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 15:28

Ah. She's a Libdem.

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 15:28

Lone brave TRA.

Raquelos · 14/04/2026 15:29

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 15:28

Ah. She's a Libdem.

enough said!

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 15:29

Can minister confirm judgment doeant affect any other law than the EA. Legal minefiled. Trans people in limbo. No guidance. Confusion.

Talking like the fucking clappers

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 15:29

Cant keep up sorry

TheNoWord · 14/04/2026 15:29

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 15:28

Ah. She's a Libdem.

Yes, Marie Goldman, Liberal Democrat Spokesperson (Women and Equalities).

Fecking idiot.

Raquelos · 14/04/2026 15:29

TRA bingo 🙄

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 15:30

Fill in with the usual TRA talking points.genital checks etc

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 15:30

Is she on drugs?

GreyskySexRealistsky · 14/04/2026 15:31

Raquelos · 14/04/2026 15:29

TRA bingo 🙄

Totally

Well, she's obviously not expecting trans people to obey the law

napody · 14/04/2026 15:31

Oh God, the Lib Dems.

She's falling into the same trap as many TRAs: by pointing out the logical incompatibility of the GRA with single sex spaces, she's highlighting the ridiculousness of the GRA.

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 15:31
