I read the trans inclusion toolkit. One line stood out for me (repeated a few times). “ The school must consider the importance of ensuring the participation of trans children and young people, as well as the rights of other children (including girls)”

It’s is saying something that girls are people needs to be spelled out! And stressed you need to think about them at all.

Yes, the school should consider the importance of the participation of all children. That statement fails the test of ridiculous inverse. What's the alternative? do not consider the unimportance of trans children participating?

I guess by participation they mean boys participating in the changing room with girls, or?

The Trans Inclusion Toolkit is written to give cover for activist teachers to prioritise their personal political agenda, just enough words to support “I followed the policy”.

It’s not been written to make sense.

This policy document is an anti safeguarding policy simply because it has too many words in it, it’s a buffet of activist protection attempting to over ride statutory safeguarding. It’s more like an overly written political manifesto.

This policy document is the foundation for pretty much all of UK schools. You don’t have to have kids in a Brighton school for them to be at risk.

Having just moved my DD out of college halls where half her flatmates partied/smoke/drank around the clock with no consideration for the rest and referred to her as ‘the retard’ [she is AuDHD and gender non-confirming having previously considered herself trans]… I would say that gen Z are as narrow-minded, bigoted and simply unpleasant as any other generation with a vocal activist [white, middle class, mainly female] minority who will virtue signal on trans/green/Palestine issues or whatever the SU decides is the cause de jour this week, but actually really couldn’t genuinely give a shit about any of it behind closed doors. But I’m not bitter 🤣

One of many things that gets me about this whole charade, is why do they get to choose? Obviously I don’t want them to be allowed in the opposite sex’s changing rooms but it seems to contradict the beliefs that they are the opposite sex. They really are the sacred caste, aren’t they.

Yes it's an odd choice of words. The pandering is baked in.

The problem is the choice only goes one way - at Darlington Rose got to choose to use the ladies locker room, the nurses didn't get to choose to exclude him despite the fact that more of them choose to ask to keep the room a single sex space. Same in Fife where the fragrant Dr choose to use the ladies whilst Sandy et al didn't get a choice in the matter.....

Men who want to wear a dress and make up get to choose but real actual women don't as their opinions are lesser than those of cos playing men. Just goes to show that those in power know that they are men as only men would get that level of pandering.

And when provided with third spaces - the alternative to sex based changing so men can choose where they wish to be -

that is not ok. Because it isn't about wanting choice.

It's about wanting to control and use women. And about wanting law to prevent women being able to escape. Wanting law to require women to provide their body to men as the price of access to services, resources, or in the case of the Darlington nurses, the workplace.

Put it bluntly and you either have to be a male supremacist or appalled.

Absolutey. Not only are the men allowed in, the women are in trouble if they leave because of this (microaggression, right/), or if they avoid the space and go elsewhere. And if they don't smile enough at the man encroaching on their boundaries.

Happy Friday everyone, brief update on timelines

The school & local authority were served with claim on 1st April, they have 21 days after that to respond to the court and 7 additional days to show it to me & legal team, then, I think judge has 2 weeks to decide. So, fluid timelines, but things are moving forwards.

the EASS, from the EHRC, have been in touch again and now have access to the full details, they said it was for intelligence purposes only but I strongly suspect it will get kicked up the chain to the top once they read it all.

I do hope this gets somewhere soon :)
