Ok you’re not telling me NOONE in the government has been aware of this thread and its predecessors( if so they are so far out of touch they don’t deserve to be MPs) On that basis, in the midst of a COL crisis, schools and other services stretched more than ever, WTAF are they doing letting this school / LA go to court, with barristers and all the costs associated with such an action, to defend an illegal policy. It’s the LAW, there’s zero nuance or room for selective interpretation, the FWS judgement was very very clear. I don’t understand why this seems to be a law that only has to be followed if you agree with it? That’s not how laws work! All that money just disappearing down the drain! How is this being allowed to happen????

If only the pesky proles, including ones like this girl and her dad, would wait until Starmer changes the EA so that Phillipson can pull putting out advice triggered by the SC ruling. I mean, they're so inconsiderate.

It appears to be a lifestyle choice for the NHS - splashing taxpayer's money in courts defending the illegal and indefensible in numerous tribunals.

I suggest, for "lifestyle", replace with "religious" or "caste".
The only way this ideology could be this deep-rooted, this pernicious, is for it to be hardwired now into organisations, those running organisations, and those within organisations propagandizing from one member to another, vertically AND horizontally.
The ruling classes in the likes of the NHS draw religious inspiration from #BeingGood and #HoldingThePowerlessUp.
In a West that is in freefall economically, sense of worth under threat, and allying to victims is more powerful than ever... thus the Omnicause, and trans part of the Holy Trinity along with Gaza/anti Zionism and BLM/Critical Race Theory.
I believe the NHS management caste would spend their whole budget on court cases if they felt they had to.

Just coming on to mention that Colin Wynter Qc has mentioned your case on X (@qcwynter) and several people are asking whether you have full funds in place for legal costs. JKRs fund was mentioned but Colin has said that if you need to promote a go fund me or anything else he’s happy to amplify.

@SingleSexSpacesInSchools and daughter - it been a long time since I was at school, but I still remember how hard it is to do something that marks you out from everyone else. You must have enormous courage as well as the strength of your convictions to take on the establishment. You don’t know me but I hope it helps you to know that there are women of all ages up and down the country wishing you well and personally I’m very sorry that you have to fight this battle to have something I took for granted all those years ago (single sex facilities). What you are asking for is completely reasonable and I hope no one makes you feel otherwise.

It doesn’t matter about having a belief system around gender identity. It’s ok that some folk do. What isn’t ok is demanding that those who are born female are used to validate them by taking away their own rights to safety and dignity via single sex spaces.

On the third space issue, there always is a third space available for anyone to use, for any reason. However - 1 - it's the teacher changing space. 2 - it's not big enough for as many who would want to use it - 3 it's not well run or understood by any of the kids, it's all great big mess.

Lets shine a MASSIVE lighten it and see what happens. :)

That shows that on one level the school know who is female and who is male. They know they cannot put a teenage girl into a changing room full of teenaged boys, even if she claims to be a boy. The risk to her safety is too great. However putting a boy into a group of changing girls carries less of a safety risk - the effect is on the girls dignity.

So the school has in effect completed a risk assessment. I expect it's not recorded on paper though 😁but it has been done.

The same as putting trans men into the men's jail. It just wouldn't happen.

Quite. Because while it's very important everyone pretends - and compels women to pretend - that they think this man is a woman, in reality, everyone knows exactly what sex everyone is and what that means.

It would be #sadtimes if someone had FOI'd the school for their insurance details and then written to the insurance company giving them full details about what the school was doing, why their actions were not legal, how that meant the insurance would not cover the school in the event of legal action and then that same person had written to the school reminding the governors about their literal personal liability for actions taken in governors meetings and how they were no longer covered by the schools insurance.

And yes, we live in a world where people have crowd funded £7,633.76 to show 15 year old girls more penises.

Thank you both for taking on this fight. It never ceases to amaze me how otherwise sensible people are willing to beclown themselves in the name of this destructive ideology.

This will not be an easy fight but please know you have so much support. Do not listen to anyone who tries to tell you that you are being unkind or bigoted. Girls and women have the right to single sex spaces, services and opportunities. Girls and women have the right to defend our rights without having to bend the knee to boys and men with special identities. Girls and women have the right to put ourselves first without having to centre the feelings of boys and men.
