Good luck with the dentistry. The last dentist to do what felt like major roadworks in my gob looked about 12, but credit where it is due, it was the most painless lot of roadworks my teeth had ever had. May you be as fortunate.

As for men... yep, even the nice ones can make a woman want to throw things. Various shit is going on in the wider clan, as well as assorted domestic crises which have hit since New Year, so my tolerance level is very, very low at present. DH should wear a hard hat.

But, on the fridge front, I'm probably as likely as he is to leave stuff to go off.

When the first series of Sort Your Life Out came out in 2021, Mr Pasta bought me a label maker. I love it a bit more than is quite sane.

My fridge and freezer is beautifully labelled, with dates and everything. Until he goes off-piste and puts random unlabelled stuff in and promptly forgets about it.

P.S. I have one fewer wisdom teeth and a very drilled and filled back molar and I feel like I've been punched in the face.

Hello! I wish I was more regular in my appearances here, but I have a few other things to deal with, and my sleep patterns have been disrupted yet again by local foxes. It's that time of the month that the vixen who lives out the back of me is in heat, and omg I could do without being wakened in the small hours by an animal who sounds like a child being tortured.

When I go out for a walk in the evenings, I quite often see dog foxes doing their rounds, and I feel that if only they spent less time securing food from the Colonel, and spent more time attending to the horny vixen who keeps waking me up at night, we might have a more functional society.

That's all. I just wish foxes were more socially responsible.

Mine is an old fashioned DYMO basic one that prints sticky-backed paper labels. It's been over used and is a bit prone to buttons sticking these days.

There are loads of new ones that connect to an App, so you aren't punching away at stiff buttons, just typing on your phone. Plus you have more characters - mine is quite a faff to get punctuation to work.

My main recommendation is choose one with easy to buy cartridges - everyone makes DYMO-compatible cartridges but with some of the he smaller companies you'll be stuck with their cartridges only and they can get expensive if you label like an obsessive if you tend to label things a lot.

Oh the joys of Dymo labels.

The audacity lies in getting @Boiledbeetle to part with so many Tunnocks. Even if they are out of date. They still fetch a good price on the black market.

France was reconnaissance and positioning. The wine was cover (convincing, to be fair).

Nuance was about timing, access and ensuring that Sébastien-André was deployed exactly where needed.

And the Tunnocks? That’s the real tell. You don’t move that volume unless you’ve secured logistics, paid in something untraceable but desirable and convinced Boily that it was justified.
