Mass Shooting in Tumbler Ridge Canada

Looks like it was a man in a dress. Another tragedy. More lives lost. Boys with violent tendencies cannot be told they are actually girls. The violent background of trans activism is a problem.

BREAKING

The identity of the Tumbler Ridge shooter can now be confirmed as Jesse “Jess” Strang.

Strang is a biological male who started to “identify” as a "girl" around 2023.

Strang was raised in a family that valued hunting, and began learning how to shoot rifles when he was just a child. Many guns were kept in the family's residence.

Facebook posts from his mother indicate he may have struggled with behavioral issues, including violent tendencies, from a very young age.

Strang fatally shot 10 people prior to taking his own life.

In 2021, Strang launched a YouTube channel that was promoted by his mother on her Facebook. The channel was dedicated to "hunting, self-reliance, guns" and his other interests. At some point, Strang deleted the content on the channel and changed his handle from "Jesse Boy" to "JessJessUwU." The only remaining post on the channel was made 6 months ago and reads "I've been pretty, um, aimless."

I’m tempted to report this but more think this deserves to stand to show the kind of thing we are dealing with.

good point

The media will be stuck because if they report it is a “woman” they’ll just highlight it more because no one will believe it.

The whole terrible situation from start to end has been exacerbated by the media and institutions creating, reifying, and protecting a sacred caste.

I dont know how we roll back from this as a society.

Truth matters, for many more reasons than we even realise.

letsallchant · 11/02/2026 09:56

Reported that last one but please consider ignoring posts that are obviously out to rile people. Don't give them oxygen

Leave it to stand. The madness shouldn’t be swept under the rug.

Coatsoff42 · 11/02/2026 09:59

The BBC should apologise to women for describing a bog standard violent criminal man as a female. When there’s an ongoing epidemic of VAWG, this sort of public gaslighting is just an insult.

Also a fair approach. #LetThemSpeak shows the real humanity of the movement 🙄

Just to check: Are you using 'autistic' as an insult here?!?

Wheresthebeach · 11/02/2026 10:01

Horrific story. The refusal to accurately describe the shooter as male is outrageous-the BBC is complicite. This has to stop. Gender ideology isn't helping confused kids.

DeanElderberry · 11/02/2026 10:01

'happy holidays'

is it a holiday anywhere atm?

an no, shooting people is NOT a 'transgender right'

SwirlyGates · 11/02/2026 10:01

Hmm, as soon as I saw on the BBC report "female in a dress with brown hair", I wondered. And then I thought, no I shouldn't make assumptions, women can be violent too - just yesterday there was an article about a woman who murdered her (female) partner and dismembered her, which is a very rare crime for a woman.

But it seems my first instinct was right.

The “A” game is being brought this morning.

My 15 year old son said “can you believe a woman would do this” I said “no. I will put money on this being a trans woman”

It's obviously rare but women have done this sory of thing before. It wouldn't have been wholly unprecedented.

Coatsoff42 · 11/02/2026 09:59

The BBC should apologise to women for describing a bog standard violent criminal man as a female. When there’s an ongoing epidemic of VAWG, this sort of public gaslighting is just an insult.

The first news warnings used this wording, though.

It should be questioned whether a description of an active shooter, intended to warn and protect the public, should be bases on observable sex or on the shooter's 'gender identity'.

senua · 11/02/2026 10:05

an innocent dress wearing brown haired woman (hardly a very unique descriptor) could have been suspected and even shot
We all understood the coded message, from 5000 miles away.
How many women in Tumbler Ridge (pop 2500) do you think wear a dress in February when the average temperature is between minus-2 and minus-11 °C?

Although 'dress and brown hair' should have been sufficient. They definitely shouldn't have included 'female'.

ProfessorRedshoeblueshoe · 11/02/2026 10:05

Do they still have a 3 strikes and you're out on these boards ?

CassOle · 11/02/2026 10:07

It is worth visiting Kiwi Farms (no account needed to read it). There is a featured thread on this horrific shooting. The last few pages (P 22-27 at the time of posting) the farmers have archived a lot of information about this killer. Social media, 'Dollhouse Roleplay' game, 'Roblox Erotic Roleplay Community' and gunlaws in Canada. There is also information about the two victims who were killed before the school shooting.

Edited

Again, though, if a violent male is on the loose and police are alerting the public, the first priority should be the safety of the public, not the gender identity of the violent male.

Yes but as you say, it’s extremely rare. So when I see a mass shooting event, it’s likely to have been carried out by a white male. And it was.

something doesn’t have to be unprecedented to be unlikely.

It doesn’t surprise me that they have all the receipts on this. Not sure if I can access the site where I am at the moment but will have a go.

I keep seeing ‘but yes women have done this sort of thing before’ few on here mainly on socials

yes there’s been a tiny tiny percentage stop pushing that it’s not unusual of course it fucking is

A lone female shooter killing 9 and injuring 25?

I mean, possibly, but very unlikely. I think it may be unprecedented.

Exactly. Women just don't do this sort of thing.

But if they’d said transwoman then it would have been a whole lot clearer.

Yes but being confused about actual sex when confronted by an individual in a dress just really isn't a thing. Men and older teen boys still look like men or older teen boys, no matter what they wear. Their gait, their muscle structure. Their lower jaw structure. How they move and run. The descriptor given by an eye witness is more likely to be 'male teenager wearing a dress' than an accidental 'woman in a dress, oh, oops'.
