Excellent news 👏👏👏👏

Columbidae · 20/01/2026 18:02

I'm so pleased for her!

EweSurname · 20/01/2026 18:02

Fab news! Hope the root cause is addressed and not hastily swept under the carpet

silverwrath · 20/01/2026 18:05

That's fantastic new!!

I'm so pleased her ordeal is over.

But infuriated that she's had to go through it in the first place. 😡

Purplecatshopaholic · 20/01/2026 18:09

So pleased common sense has prevailed. Can’t believe it was allowed to get this far. Batshit.

MsAnimal · 20/01/2026 18:10

Amazing!!! I was just checking Twitter and there was no news!

NotAtMyAge · 20/01/2026 18:11

That's wonderful news! Like everyone else, I'm delighted for her but also angry she had to deal with this. The process truly is the punishment.

Soontobe60 · 20/01/2026 18:11

I’ve been waiting for this all afternoon! I’d like to say it’s amazing news, but it should never have come to this in the first place!

Igmum · 20/01/2026 18:12

Whoop whoop 🙌

Theeyeballsinthesky · 20/01/2026 18:13

Wooohoooo!

but it should never have got this far in the first place

wantmorenow · 20/01/2026 18:16

Thank fuck. What a shit show for her to endure. The process, as ever, is the punishment. Hope she can recover from this and thrive.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 20/01/2026 18:17

As ever, the process is the punishment.
So pleased for her.

weegielass · 20/01/2026 18:17

This only strengthens her case I think if the trust realise they fked up

Veilsofmorning · 20/01/2026 18:19

So pleased for her

PassTheHanky · 20/01/2026 18:21

So the NHS has dropped their disciplinary action against Jennifer but surely the NHS can't spend years putting Jennifer through a punishing Disciplinary process just to say "no case to answer, you can go back to work now".
I thought Jennifer (supported by Christian Concern) took out a case against the NHS for their appalling treatment of her.
I checked the Christian Concern website but can't see if that's still going ahead. Does anyone know?

ProfessorRedshoeblueshoe · 20/01/2026 18:22

Good news, but she should never have been put though it.

FallenSloppyDead2 · 20/01/2026 18:22

Well done Jennifer. You are exactly the kind of nurse I would want for myself and my loved ones. I hope you continue your successful career without any further harassment from an NHS Trust that really doesn't deserve you.

SirChenjins · 20/01/2026 18:23

Excellent news! What a relief this must be for her, but fucking ridiculous that it even got to this stage - it should never have been allowed to.

Shedmistress · 20/01/2026 18:24

I mean, surely the NHS are beginning to realise it is utterly batshit to keep on with this. But thank goodness she got the word out or we would never have even known about it.

Well done that woman.

SternJoyousBeev2 · 20/01/2026 18:26

Great news!

unfortunately I have no confidence that this decision would have been taken if it were not for the publicity from Jennifer speaking to the media.

elgreco · 20/01/2026 18:27

Great news

PassTheHanky · 20/01/2026 18:27

Ah, just found the answer to my own question
"The nurse is now taking the NHS to tribunal, claiming it has unlawfully interfered with her right to hold gender-critical views under the European Convention on Human Rights to freedom of thought, conscience and religion. The case will open in Croydon on April 13."

Marylou2 · 20/01/2026 18:30

Incredible news. shouldn't have happened to her in the first place but i hope she sleeps easy tonight

OdeToTheNorthWestWind · 20/01/2026 18:33

Excellent! Dismissing a disciplinary case that should never have started does not take away the anxiety of almost two years.

The managers that made these idiotic decisions must still be held to account for them.
