“I don’t think that’s because a Labour government is the main driving force, I think the main driving force pushing it backwards, there are external forces funded by big money from Elon Musk to JK Rowling, but the Government isn’t standing up against that with a compassionate alternative, and it’s allowing itself to be pushed in that direction.

“I think it’s very sad, I feel very sorry for her, for someone who was once a treasured children's author.”
Earlier this year the Harry Potter author launched a fund for "women's sex-based rights", which "offers legal funding support to individuals and organizations fighting to retain women’s sex-based rights in the workplace, in public life and in protected female spaces".

Ms Whittome ruled out the idea social media regulation was a “silver bullet”, and that the only way to fight bigotry was “not to give an inch”.
She said: “We see negative headlines about trans people in the media every day, the Tories and Reform continue to use them as a political football, often most damagingly in reference to protecting women from women who aren’t trans, which misdiagnoses the problem of male violence, which is something…done to women both trans and not trans by violent and abusive men.'

Nadia, wait til you hear what they're doing with violent and abusive men who say they're women! They're in women's prisons, Nad!

The fact the Darlington nurses are being funded by Christian Concern has unfortunately been an open goal for Nadia & co. It's the first thing that gets mentioned about the case in TRA circles and feeds into their narrative that individuals are being used by larger, shadowy forces.

Of course, TRAs would dismiss the nurses' case however pure the funding, but I think it's an unfortunate alliance given CC's hardline views on other topics. It muddies the water somewhat, as they're always mentioned in the same breath.

But that is exactly what has been happening for years now......but first there had to be an end to 'No Debate' which was where the Labour party, and others, were at seven years ago. When the Guardian was blacklisting its own writers, and women were being banned even from this forum; when the Scottish Greens were at their looniest; when 'A Woman's Place' meetings had to have the venue announced at the last minute in case screaming TRAS turned up and tried to get it closed down; when women were reduced to havng to put little stickers on the genitals of iron men at Crosby Beach - declaring that "women don't have penises"; when the Mayor of Liverpool threatened to have them arrested for a 'hate crime'...

This absolutely the worst of it. She’ll fiercely hold on to her illogical and sanctimonious principles happy to see the UK lurch to the right under the spell of Farage - who knows how to exploit a divisive issue - because she’s on the right side of history. And will drag us all down with her idiocy.

Yes, I think she and her ilk actually need Farage, so that they have something to define themselves against. They actually cultivate opponents like him because it serves their delusions of virtue.
