It didn't take long for journalists to dig up concrete evidence that suggested they were male.

But apparently Brigitte has been successfully lying about her sex for decades, including giving birth to three children?

I agree, but it’s really scary how those interventions often don’t work. There’s even been cases where the perpetrator went to prison and after they’ve come out, the situation is continued.

No one's judging anybody, if you have the correct ID you'll be fine. It's really not a big deal.

“If you have the correct ID”, if you don’t realise how alarming this sounds I think you’re a lost cause to be honest.

I honestly can't see the problem, without this trans identified men will be invading our safe spaces. Its them you should concerned about.

You’ll see the issue when the ID is based on what political beliefs you hold.

I think Sex Matters would argue that men and women have managed to use public toilets for decades without ID, and that there is no need for ID now.

The point is just that if ID is going to be introduced, it should provide accurate information.

No, that is gender conservatives. You just need to look at the pictures of women outside the court on the day of the SC ruling to see that the 'TERF's involved don't care a fig about gender conformity.

It's possible to judge sex using hip ration, hand size and gait. Scientists can sex skeletons long after they have lost any superficial indicators of masculinity or femininity.

Are the accusations based on her appearance? I wouldn’t pick Brigitte out as a particularly masculine looking woman. Also Candace Owens is a Republican. I don’t know about the original accusers in France. Were they TERFs?

So are we asked to believe a massive cover up took place years ago over the circumstances of these births, when she was still a private citizen? Were the children taken from another Frenchwoman and given to Brigitte and her then husband? For what purpose? Just in case she married Emmanuel and became the First Lady of France at some future date?
I find it hard to believe that French bureaucracy would not have public records of exactly who gave birth to them in.
I had a good look at some photos of Brigitte, she is somewhat shorter than her not-particularly-tall husband, even in stilettoes, has narrow shoulders, good legs, small feet and a petite but shapely figure. She looks unmistakably female.

Neither would I. I think, if anything, she looks slightly more masculine than you expect because she's older than you expect and trying to look younger, but she looks like a heavily made up 70 (?) yo woman to me.

Honestly, if she is capable of that level of conspiracy and planning, I'm at a loss to understand why Macron made such a mess of the elections in 2024.

I can’t believe the actual Président de la République is lowering himself by pandering to this pathetic nonsense. What are his advisors thinking? Macron should stay way, way above it and ignore it.
