This is too weird. I don't know if it's an official school uniform. He appears at the end of the school day hanging around smoking. In the old days he'd have been moved along. Surely this can't be acceptable.

My rule of thumb is, if society thinks my straight middle aged husband shouldn't be doing it, then neither should another grown man however he identifies.

There’s no explanation for that behaviour that does involve some degree of a sexual fetish.

They say they dress as the gender and age range they are attracted to which is why so often you see middle aged men dressing as teenagers or even younger.

When I was at secondary school in the mid 90s there was a man who dressed like this and had built a sort of ‘den’ in some bushes on a footpath that led to the secondary school and was not near any roads. Numerous adults reported him to the police and were told yes he’s a bit weird but it’s not illegal. He then went on to rape an 11 year old girl on her way to school.

Is he positioned near a school exit. If he is that's definitely sinister and police should move him on, but if he's just at any old bus stop I suppose there's no rule against cross dressing in public - other than near kids.

So, the Police pulled out all the stops to find and charge at least two gimps, but meh this. He's deeply creepy and I cannot believe that he has good intentions. If the Police leave him to it, it could end badly for him.

Theres no law against crossdressing fullstop or the jails would be overrun, not that they aren't already. However there "may" be a law on wearing uniforms your are not entitled to or outside the environment they are intended.

There’s definitely something not right with him. From the picture I saw this morning he was sat with schoolgirls wearing the exact same thing, almost like he was expecting to get on the bus with them. It made it all seem a bit sinister.

It was awful, I remember at the time she didn’t know what to do so she just went home and the school called her mum at work because she hadn’t turned up for registration. My mum had to sit us down and explain what had happened and we were all told not to walk to school alone after that.

There was a man - I think it was earlier this year - that was dressing up in a girls school uniform and catching the public bus at the same time as the school kids. He would also hang around the school gates and followed the kids into the school on one occasion.

There was a lot of discussion online and in the community and I think the police talked to him, but I'm not sure anything was done to actively stop him. I wonder if it's the same person.

Yeah, they pose no threat…until they do. I’m glad to see lots of people reporting him and circulating pictures, it restores my faith that people actually do know what these men are up to, even if they pretend not to.

This horrible man has found a way to sexually harass young girls on their way to school. To remove any sense of pride in themselves as young women getting an education and forming community. It’s just another way for a man to humiliate girls. The shame must change sides yet again. Shame on this man. Shame on a society that allows a man to do this with impunity and even praise. We can thank Stonewall, Queer Theory and (no longer Gay) Pride for opening the door to sex fetishists of all kinds. Once it became unacceptable to say men can’t become women, we were ordered to practise ‘acceptance without exception’.
