Arrested again! Details on his Substack. This is beyond a joke; 5 armed officers!

https://grahamlinehan.substack.com/p/i-just-got-arrested-again

I just got arrested again

I arrived back in London to discover the UK is still a police state run by trans activists

I think you do not know pity when you see it.

Not when it’s so well disguised as nastiness.
ffs, no he doesn’t look very healthy but a bp over 200 is well beyond typical chronic hypertension. There’s nothing ‘snowflake’ about a middle aged man being so stressed the police realise he needs to go to A&EHmm

I saved some of Boiled’s excellent work.

I think we can make an honourable exception for this one as it's been funny.

As a rule, I agree though.

But ignoring this one was like walking past a gorgeous Parisian patisserie and not going in. Impossible.

Haven't read the full thread yet so if this has been posted already my apologies.
But how bad do you have to fuck up to get Owen fucking Jones defending gliner

Although oj may have sense enough to realise that arresting people for hateful things they say on line may at some point be liable to bite his pals hard.

Britinme · 02/09/2025 23:15

I note that @Christinapple has been posting since I asked my question but hasn’t answered it. Here it is again. Could it be that @Christinapple doesn’t actually have an answer?

** I asked a question upthread to which I haven't yet seen an answer (apologies if I've missed it but this thread is moving fairly fast and my time is limited). Here's the question I asked and I would really like a response to it:
How many trans-identified men have you reported for threatening to rape or kill women for expressing gender-critical opinions? Do you think Linehan's tweets are more serious or less serious than those by the trans-identified men?

moto748e · 02/09/2025 23:15

I wouldn't hold your breath, Brit.

He's already being sued for defamation by a gay man, and already has a charge for harassment and criminal damage against a trans woman, and threatened to kill women at a protest (which earned him a permanent ban on Twitter, before Uncle Musk brought him back).

He also sexually harassed and threated to drag a trans woman out a toilet by her "kinky boots". I'm disappointed he wasn't charged for that.

Multiple people, I was one of them, reported him to the police for his latest sexual violence threat to punch trans people in their genitalia.

The violent homophobe won't stop until he's in prison.

It's also not a good look for the GC community since apart from Jo he appears to be one of the "leaders".

Wow Chris, this is low even for you,

SapphireSeptember · 02/09/2025 23:19

moto748e · 02/09/2025 23:10

Meanwhile I recently found out she (Amy Lee) is pro 'LGBTQ+

Aw, y'know, if you start asking yourself those questions about your favourite musicians... especially if they're American! You just have to put it to the back of your mind, and enjoy the music!

Indeed! She might come around. I live in hope. 😊 It's the same with Lzzy Hale. Lindsey Stirling is LDS, so she should be more sensible.
I feel like in the USA, it's a left/right thing, which is daft. I'm sure there are left wing GC people like there are over here, but I haven't seen many. Karen Davis used to vote for the Democrats but I'm not sure if she still does, because I haven't kept up to date with her Substack since DS arrived.

”snowflake” describes his ridiculous hyperbolic blaming of posts by trans activists as the cause of the high BP/almost killing him.

That’s pitiable.

It is almost certain his dangerously high blood pressure is due to his years of living an unhealthy lifestyle catching up to him.

It’s even more pitiable that he doesn’t even clock that he is hypocritically doing what he has for years mocked TRAs for claiming that online words are literally violence that can kill.

He is also shooting himself in the foot given he is up for criminal harassment with the defence that he genuinely doesn’t believe posting online could be harmful to anyone at all….yet here he is claiming online posts have almost literally killed him.

No, he's saying that being arrested at the airport by 5 armed policeman did that.

BettyBooper · 02/09/2025 22:57

Night! I also have Hallmarked Man to read.

Whilst picking it up in Waterstones, I also asked for a copy of TWWWW.

... 'oh, that Scottish book. Not sure we have that....' 😂

Yeah. Night everyone. It's been a blast.. Thanks for all the book recommendations as well. Cant say i' ve ever heard of any of them, but I will check them.out. By all accounts, Enid Blyton's a great read. Xx

Dogsrbrill · 02/09/2025 23:44

There's a venomous tone.

The bananrama offence. It's not what you say it's the way that you say it

murasaki · 02/09/2025 23:37

Yes
Eventually, a nurse came to check on me and found my blood pressure was over 200—stroke territory. The stress of being arrested for jokes was literally threatening my life!

he didn’t mention tweets by anyone else as being the cause. Tweets don’t kill. Words don’t kill. Stress causing bp over 200 can kill.
If you’re going to vilify someone in a nasty way, try not to make things up. Scathing comments only work when they’re accurate.

CannibalQueen · 02/09/2025 23:47

It's absurd.

murasaki · 02/09/2025 23:48

Well to be fair, the drive by posters' relationship with accuracy and facts is at best tenuous.

And to avoid confusion, that's being kind, not venomous.

CannibalQueen · 02/09/2025 23:48

Hurty words on twitter.

Although oj may have sense enough to realise that arresting people for hateful things they say on line may at some point be liable to bite his pals hard.

In fairness, that is a perfectly reasonable reason to support free speech/the law. It's not a sign of hypocrisy/nefarious intent or anything. I would also support Owen Jone's right to say things I disagree with, because long term it's in my interest. I think he is showing more intelligence than a lot of politicians these days (not just on the left).

If someone said that all TERFs were evil, or all women were manipulative - whatever, and a crazy person went out and attacked a GC woman I don't think you can blame the person making the comments. It's different if there is an angry mob outside JK Rowling's house and someone's at the head of the mob (or virtually at the head) inciting them to burn it down. Likewise direct, credible incitements to violence especially when the person is in authority. And the same rules should apply when criticising Trans people, or Palestine or Israel, or politicians etc. Owen Jones knows he needs freedom of speech to make the points he needs (and the left have been under attack on this issue too).

You do realise that hypertension can be genetic as well as lifestyle related?

Plus anxiety and emotional stress can raise blood pressure due to increased adrenaline and cortisol levels?

The gay man was David Paisley a trans activist and whilst Linehan went too far calling him a groomer he wasn’t wrong about the rest of what he said about him as David is vexatious and against women whose views he doesn’t share.

That transwoman you say he assaulted (and let’s be clear he took their phone and threw it on the ground) is a teenage, 6 foot 2 or 3 solid brick house who has persistently turned up to women’s rights events and harassed and intimidated and got in women’s faces and recorded them on his phone and shouted abuse. Context matters!

And the ‘drag out by kinky boots’ comments was Eddie Izzard….He was employing dark humour over Eddie talking about going into women’s spaces.

I take it you’re a trans activist but you’ll have to live with the fact many women don’t agree that men belong in women’s things.

As for the particular issue being discussed no one should sanction state-controlled speech as you could be in the firing line one day.

Did he try and overdose with antihistamines or something?

I missed that.

Should have a warning label on twitter:

  • CAUTION use of this site is linked to hypertension which can cause life threatening strokes or heart attacks
plus the photo of G man in A&E with his compo victim face on.

’Sophia’ has recently been trolling Caroline Farrow on TwiX, claiming to have a place on the same degree course at the same university as CF’s daughter.

Also a buddy of MN favourite Stephanie Hayden.
