I really resent the fact that despite a lifetime of sensible shoes (partly because I've always had feet that get sore easily) - eccos, hotters, skechers, crocs - I'm developing bunions. SO not fair.

Did you consider classifying this as a “sensitive image”? Had I not reminded myself that this is the Boily we know and love I would have been frightened. Very frightened.

Is this for when The Bluestocking is being threatened by invaders, and the Staunch Allies have taken all the gerbils away for an outing to the seaside?

I think there's a genetic element as to whether or not you get bunions. Do blokes get bunions though, I've never heard that they do. Have any ancient female skeletons been found with them?

I was looking for something else the other day and found a small jar of cuticle cream of unknown provenance. So as I want to improve my nails I've been giving it a go. Too soon to tell if it's doing anything. But it's reminded me I hate thick creams in jars. I always end up with a load under my nails. Not really a problem here I suppose but lip salve! I much prefer the sticks. The wee jars of lipsalve are very cute but applying them! I think you're supposed to pucker up, stick your lips in and twist. Like chalking a pool cue.

Tasmanian Devils really live up to their name, don't they? I thought they were devils for tearing other animals limb from limb with those vicious-looking teeth, but it seems that they have actually raised divilry to an art-form - I mean unplugging equipment and pissing on fruit snacks is inspired, isn't it?

Devils are cheeky wee animals. They're notorious for nicking people's clothes and bedding to line their dens.

In fact they will nick anything that isn't nailed down
