Get the popcorn folks. GLP is getting ready to lose again.

They are going after barrister Sarah Phillimore for referring to a man as a man. They think they are going to lawfare her into silence.

The only thing is other TAs have already tried this on Phillimore multiple times. They went to the Bar Council their claims were dismissed. They all failed. More to the point this ‘Kate’ is the same guy complaining again who already failed. Sarah Phillimore knows the law and likes explaining it to TAs and making them lose. So she doesn't even resent the attempt.

As far as I know ‘coming out’ as left handed doesn’t involve drugs and surgery that have only been recently available, and it’s always been possible to objectively observe and define the concept of dominant hand and foot.

Wouldn’t the GLP do a better job of defending trans people if they don’t set themselves up for failure by arguing that there are more than 2 sexes or that there is no sex based advantage in sport?

-the you obviously don’t know any trans people.

-the you are all misinformed that is why you are bigots.

-the modern people with transgender identities have always existed throughout history false comparison.

-the ‘so few regretters’ falsehood combined with the ‘and many of them detransition because they are not accepted by society’ over exaggeration.

-the testosterone reduction makes men weak falsehood.

-the leveraging of people with Differences of sex development to falsely destabilise the sex category binary.

I look forward to seeing a copy for myself. Because this seems to follow all the other communication guides that groups supporting the prioritisation of gender identity above sex in all instances produce. Those guides always show just how these groups rely on manipulation to convince people .

Dragging in intersex conditions and hormonal variations to try and prove sex is not binary. We've seen it all before.

And the left-handedness comparison doesn't remotely explain the rises and falls in trans identification (due pretty clearly to social contagion).

Theere are 2 huge differences between being left handed and having a gender identity. You can't pretend to be left handed if you are actually right handed and a close examination of a skeleton will reveal whether the owner was left or right handed but won't tell the examiner anything about their gender.
