Rabbit rescue targeted by TRAs

I saw Rosie Duffield tweet about this the other day. A charity that rescues rabbits has been coming under attack from TRAs. I'm not entirely sure what their 'crime' is; I think it's to do with an account they have followed. Which makes them actual Nazis of course 🙄

But who goes through someone's 7000+ follows/followers so forensically that they can find a dodgy account like this in the first place? The rescue charity had a policy back then of automatically following back anyone who supported them. They've learned the hard way that sometimes this isn't a good idea.

I doubt anyone checked 7000 accounts by hand. They'd just grab a list of who someone follows and cross ref with a list of wrongthink accounts. It would be trivially easy to write a short script to do that.

I'm sure there's plenty of scripts like that floating around that just get run every time the TRA pile on finds a new victim.

I'm sure you're right. It backfired spectacularly on them this time though, to the extent that they appear to have given up and gone away to find an easier victim.

I watched Watership Down when I was about four and was so traumatised I haven't seen it since. IIRC, some of those bunnies were bloody terrifying. Have we considered that one of them has found the password and is accessing right-wing accounts on Twitter?

My dear Lord, how absolutely mind fucked do you have to be to think that a tiny little bunny rescue could somehow influence enough people to stop the TRA movement in its tracks. Paranoid or what!

So sorry for all the transpeople and non binary thinkers who have been so mortally traumatised by a tweet made by the bunny charity. Honestly, how would you manage to get out of bed in the morning knowing the universe is collaborating with poorly bunnies and setting such evil man person traps to target you and upset your day, must be awful to know that your entire existence is only sustained by keyboard warriors scouring the internet to protect your specialness from harm.

I have never been able to watch it. I heard bunnies were traumatised in it and have always been too sensitive to watch it.
