If she says that she will do something she actually follows through with it. It isn't just words on twitter. She is too rich, famous and powerful for them to threaten and gag her. She can literally tell them to bring it on.

She's down to her last £945 million. She would be a billionaire but she gives so much of her money funding her charitable works for women and children (and no dodgy tax evasion) that she dropped under that threshold. She is pretty intelligent and I'm sure that she will stop funding things if they are no longer sustainable, but I think she'll be OK for a while yet. I don't think she spends too much of it on women, wine and snuff (she's a whisky drinker).

The law is still the law. Whether it's crowdfunded with fivers and tenners or paid for by one person, unlawful discrimination is unlawful no matter how the women discriminated against fund their legal case.

They just hate that women have the audacity to fight back against TRA bullying, harassment and discrimination. Our defiance is spoiling all their fun.

I love that she sees a need or a gap and just gets on with making it happen. A woman of action, not just words.

I know, it's their disbelief that, rather than blow her money on things like constant travel and fast cars, she's using it to support women.
She was poor and the unfair things that happen in life hit the poorest the worst; they don't have access to the tools to fight back.
I expect she'll fight for women her whole life.

Who could have thought, back in the day, when the news about JK Rowling was that she wrote in cafes, that this is where we'd be.

Thanking her and saying we really appreciate what she has done and is doing to protect and help women and children feels trite in its inadequacy. I wish I had the words!
