Stourton family life is a mega-stressful shitshow ATM.
Individually all the issues are surmountable, but it's been three+ months of constant incoming flack and Edith here (at the eye of one of the three distinct major tornadoes - to mix my metaphors) is getting a bit knackered.

And I have a (non-family) funeral to go to this week, which is a 'bright colours' one. My winter clothes revolve around dog walking in the pissing rain and since I am a yokel, this means jeans, heavyweight jumpers and mud-coloured coats. So I'm struggling a bit there.

Anyway, Inky, I don't know what your rules are about mid-day drinking, but I'm 100% up for sharing a very nice bottle of Merlot that I found in the cupboard when I put the flame thrower away. I think a gerbil - or several gerbils, it's a magnum - must have concealed it there.

And then there were cold splashes of real life - hugs and to Stockingers going through a hard time, but apparently 'hugs and ' are not quite as immediately effect as 'oregano' and 'Merilot'😄
