I have a job interview with a recruiter! I sent in an application on Friday and they want to see me!

Though it's just a recruiter and if I get through then they will put me to the company who will decide if they want to interview me.

So more stages before I get the job.

But the last role I applied for, which I would have been brilliant at, I didn't even get to a recruiter interview.

Anyway this role is more money than that one.

Hmm. That hadn't occurred to me. I definitely think I should wait before the big reveal, but they do want everyone to bring their authentic self to work, so it's only a matter of time before I go in the prowl...

@Boiledbeetle - I am exceedingly jealous of your gingerbread custard creams - I really wanted to try them, but resisted the temptation to buy some because I knew there were treats in the house anyway (including a huge tin of Lindor that a friend gave me for my birthday - she didn't know about the diabetes), and I have almost no self control.

In fact, things have been slipping with the diabetes - I think I have let too many little treats slip back into my diet, and my average blood sugars are creeping up. They aren't back into the alarm bells stage, but I want to get them going the right way again, so I must summon a bit more self control. Though someone in the house has been helping me - not pointing any fingers ds3 - and there are a lot fewer Lindor left than I think there should be.

@AlisonDonut - ds2 brought us Tim Tams from Australia, when he visited last summer, and they are very good indeed. Apparently the done thing is to bite both ends off, then suck your drink through the biscuit - it's called a Tim Tam Slam - I think that would work very well with Baileys! And the biscuit would taste delicious afterwards too.
