I think an Eastender type drum roll needs to be introduced to emphasise certain questions from Judges.

She wants to pass the problem of a pregnant man back to parliament........yes, that's going to go down really well, isn't it. The lawyers cannot decipher it, it is an ideological or political matter for MPs

Male judge has inadvertently identified the thorny issue of removing sex references in health care literature and advice. "People with cervixes" etc.

This bit is profound. If men are included in women then any laws governing pregancy e.g. then they wouldn't be protected.

And is assuming GPs would know the man in front of them with a beard and flat chest a bulge in their trousers and a M as their sex who is a new patient is actually a female so may still have a female reproductive system and need checks.

Their argument elsewhere is that natal males with a GRC are legally women and covered by any reference to women, and vice versa for natal females with a GRC.

As the pregnancy protections under the equality act refer to protections for women, if a natal female with a GRC is a man for all purposes, they are no longer protected.

B) Ignoring the word women in the pregnancy protections because actually it's about pregnancy not sex
