Cats eating things that damage them is bad.

Cat or cats eating the business end of one of my large wooden knitting needles is also bad. I am displeased. Unfortunately I don't know which limpidly innocent little furry angel was responsible. So I've gone from attempting to knit a cot blanket from horrible chenille yarn to attempting to knit a cot blanket from horrible chenille yarn using a needle with chunks and lumps gnawed off and the end rather crudely smoothed over with a kitchen knife. The blanket is supposed to go to a sale of work to support a charity, I just hope someone with money to burn and poor eyesight snaps it up.

I don't have a cat (I have a small annoying dog) but I do have knitting needles and have just finished an enormous pink scarf (the only thing I know how to knit).

I can't knit at all, but like a bit of dressmaking.
I bought some new fabric yesterday- two sort of paisley designs and one with small graphic cats on. Dresses galore. When I can see!

I once laid out some crazy patchwork on a sheet on the floor, all pieces of shiny evening fabrics on a backing of slippery lining fabric. It took me ages to audition the pieces & get them all in the right place, but eventually I was pleased with it & I went off to have dinner.

When I opened the door on my work after dinner, it was obvious that my cat had taken a long run-up & slid through the whole thing, just for the hell of it.

I rather wish you'd opened the consulting room door so the whole waiting room could hear you & shouted, "STOP TELLING ME ABOUT YOUR TESTICLES! I'VE TOLD YOU BEFORE, I'M NOT INTERESTED!" then walked out & slammed the door. Er, how did he bring the convo round to testicles, anwyay?

Whilst trying to fudge/lie his way through why he hadn't removed the source of my pain (I mean seriously they've got images via ultrasound and c.t. Scan of what the problem is!) Decided that a woman's ovaries and a man's bollocks are basically the same thing! I can't quite remember what he said but in response I said something along the lines of "I'm not attached to my ovaries the way you are to your balls".

Although the three nurses stood right outside the door would have heard the conversation so god knows what they thought!

Beautiful work, android. Do we have a resident Bluestocking toucan? I feel a beak that size could be quite useful.
