WTF is " marmalade pudding". Was Paddington Bear the chef?

My "pudding of hate" is bread and butter pudding.

My pudding of hate (great phrase) is anything banoffee related. Although I'm not especially keen on either marmalade pudding or bread and butter pudding either.

Father Ted!? What's wrong wrong with Father Ted? Or marmalade pudding? Banoffee or banana bread can do one though.

I've never had marmalade pudding, it sounds like something I might enjoy in a pub after a long walk though it wouldn't be my first choice, and it doesn't sound like an appropriate dessert after a special meal.

I agree marmalade pudding isn't a special meal dessert. As for Father Ted, well it takes all sorts. I didn't really care for the Fast Show, all catchphrases but no jokes, thought Reeves and Mortimer was painfully unfunny, for much the same reason, and never watched Gavin and Stacey.

I really shall have to give Joni Mitchell's back catalogue. I'd forgotten Big Yellow Taxi was one of hers. Yesterday, if asked, I'd have guessed Carol King. At least I wouldn't have said Counting Crows 😁

@Boiledbeetle Yes poor lamb she is titchy too, so no room was left. All she was doing was sleeping.

The midwife did a “sweep” on Sunday to get things going. Joke being he is like my son always late.

Well hopefully after his week long lie in he'll be out and demanding breakfast shortly!

DH isn't a fan of sketch shows, sitcoms or anything with canned laughter so we don't watch nearly as much comedy as I might alone - I think Father Ted is the only one of the ones mentioned I've seen.

Been busy studying all them “another MIL one” posts, as my first was my daughter’s child.

So was worried about it being a bit of a different dynamic.

Have made them lots of grab and go food, put in their freezer. Think i just have to be where i am asked to be if you see what i mean.
