Had a pretty relentless day yesterday - too outing in real life to discuss but we have one less furry mouth to feed as new random cat is now at the neighbours house, and is going to the vets today to see if he is chipped and if not, she wants him.

TERF TUMBLER I bought some new glazes and fell for the red and orange ones so have done my Tumbler in those. The blues will have to wait til the next batch of smaller ones. It is going to be fired tomorrow. So will be cool enough hopefully late tomorrow night to use.

Fingers crossed for good news, @Bannedontherun - I remember the night when my DIL was in labour, and waiting for the news.

@AlisonDonut - gypsy tart is the one where the filling is brown sugar and condensed milk, mixed together and baked, isn't it? I don't remember ever having it as a kid, and now it would be utterly verboten - but it does sound delicious.

I'm off to knitting group shortly, but I didn't sleep terribly well last night, so I'm not looking forward to it as much as usual - but I am definitely looking forward to a nap in the Snug, by the fire.

Hopefully the new baby won't need all three booties at the same time!

The third is a spare for when the baby inevitably kicks off one bootie, which is never seen again.

I always bought two pairs of soft booties in the same colour for my sprogs for just this reason.

Start some job like emptying out the cupboard with all the tupperware in. Once that's spread all over the kitchen floor, things will happen!

Use the expensive bubble bath as well that should help with the Sods law aspect!
