They're pygmy pigs, double as footstools and build housing for the gerbils and quokkas.

Pigs have arrived

But.... He might have survived! Not that he'll have much to come home to what with his missus Sharon now being shacked up with his best mate Kevin who is raising the chicks as his own!

Thank you!

Hey, Sparticus! (He's gorgeous...)

I notice Spartacus is refusing to take the Halloween costume off after the last costume fitting!

I'm not sure why we're all dressed as something from the last century, did I miss a memo about a historical re-enactment?

Ooops - just tripped over a pig😳I confess to being something of a lurker over the last month or two. Love the AI pics they get me giggling everytime.

Welcome! Its to get you to pick them up and snuggle them, they've been learning from the cats!

Can I hang out here sometimes? Feel a bit like a new-girl joining the inn-crowd - not kept up with the Aston-gerbil-quokka-refs (and now there are puffins?! cool! when did that happen?!)... But feeling burnt out on both the work & feminist front, & need a comforting online refuge.

Will probably just return at looong intervals to sit in the corner with a hot-chocolate whenever I can snatch a break from work - nice to have a friendly refuge that's not as overwhelming as the real world right now (however esoteric!)

Usually I just drop in a bit for the AI, then scarper without introducing myself 😂 ...

Edited

We've got you now, @Catiette - you will never want to leave!

I too am in awe of the AI - it is way beyond my poor abilities.

Have I mentioned the Jenny Colgan book - The Little Beach Street Bakery (and the subsequent books) - the book has a resident puffin, so might appeal to some of us Bluestockings.

The last century was only 25 and a bit years ago, my poncho is certainly that old and it's quite possible some other garments are too. No caps, aprons or fichus though.

lcakethereforeIam · 29/10/2024 15:22

I thought Steven was last seen following a bin waggon! Was...was that just a euphemism 😟

Although, if he does show up and see what Kevin's been up to with Sharon...

God! You're right! I meant the century before the last century! I'm quite appalled that that is what the AI thought a group of women in a pub should look like! In 2024!

Neil! I confess to reading this. Nice froth, but the portrayal of Cornwall annoys me. ( We moved away from Cornwall a couple of years ago, as it was crap for us!)

Boiledbeetle · 29/10/2024 15:29

Could someone take over doing Colins belly rub, I need the quokka to help unload the Tunnock's wagon that accidentally got diverted to the pub instead of the Tesco in Huddersfield.

This is all a bit "Handmaid's Tale" for me.

DeanElderberry · 29/10/2024 15:30

sssh, we don't want people to think we're old. Though I filled out forms applying for a pensions and free travel and stuff today, and I do want the people who process that to think I'm old.

So confusing.

Bannedontherun · 29/10/2024 15:32

Well no sign of my second grandchild due the Saturday just gone, just like his dad my son who is late for everything!!

Boiledbeetle · 29/10/2024 15:32

Wagon unloaded! Refilled with potatoes! to those Tunnock's fans in Huddersfield... Happy eating!

Hopefully plenty for all beetle!!!

Catiette · 29/10/2024 15:37

I love Spart's helmet - very cute.

Nipped out to do some work, and returned to discover a Tunnocks wagon, and that piglets have joined the cats and puffins in my short time away.

Yep, definitely hanging around from now.

Would you believe me if I said there wasn't a single snowball on the van??

(The AI can confirm that's the truth - these look nothing like snowballs!)

Maybe the Handmaidsy pic is a meeting of subversive Mayday Marthas?
