Despite the disappointment I've caused some about the leglessness of this iteration of the pub (putting it like that - YABU!), the universe is smiling on me today. Walking along the shore in glorious sunshine we chanced on an outing of a dachshund club which was delightful. And then we visited a Buddhist temple, where the food offerings included a wine glass containing two Tunnocks teacakes.

@ErrolTheDragon its a Virginia creeper. Sheds in the winter till naked, grows back green Late spring. Fills a boring fence. Then turns red, then orange, after that, leaves drop off.

Have it in a large pot as it spreads like wildfire.

Oh yeah, my back 'garden' looks just like yours!

I like the way my plant wraps itself round the rat trap, and the two random leaves tell me autumn has arrived!

And now I must go and mop up the jealousy that is literally pouring off me!

I think we need some of those mirrors in the Bluestocking. Maybe just along one corridor on both sides, so anyone can do a twirl & admire their own rear view which would be, of course, svelte & drop dead gorgeous.
