I am having quite a lot of trouble bending the AI to my will. It eavesdrops on earlier conversations and put things in that I haven't asked for! Rude.

I determine there are 3 legs in the first pic, and 2 in the second.... admittedly not ideal. But this is the Bluestocking ... one day there you are with an extra leg and the next day you've got 2, or no legs whatsoever. One day you're a lovely shiny beetle, with the usual beetly attributes, the next moment you have become a cocoon ... it's very provoking

Morning all. I think my brain has outsourced dreams to AI. I dreamt I was handed a small infant to amuse, and on playing "this little piggy went to market", as one does, I discovered said infant had seven toes on one foot and three on the other!

I like magpies. I think they are very handsome creatures, they always dress for dinner, even if you've only put out a crust for them, and they are the acceptable face of non-binary - males and females look equally spiffing.

That said, I'm very worried about the baby on the left, and if I find that magpies eat babies' brains, it's going to put me right off them..

Magpies eat lots of babies - other birds' babies, mostly, though I am sure they are not averse to a tasty leveret or similar.

Speaking of leverets, I have seen several hares recently which makes me happy. I think the Bluestocking could do with a few.

Maybe I should explain that my username comes from a love of shiny, sparkly things!

I think (hope) the one on the left is just removing a stray hair or clump of dried-in mashed banana.

Phew! the mashed-in banana scenario is much better. And the magpie does look rather tender, in a 'yes-EdithStourton-I-eat-babies-but-not-dear-little-human-ones' way

I think the one on the left is gently nuzzling the baby's head with its beak, checking for nits or crumbs.
