Actually, everything looks better in spa mosaics.

I don't think they actually come in, they just hang around outside looking to nick chips.

I love the idea of the Stationery Corner - I have loads of pens and crayons and paper and colouring books and craft stuff (and not an artistic bone in my body!☺️). Womanfully resisted a trip to the Pencil Museum on a recent trip to Keswick as I knew I wouldn't be able to resist their shop. I occasionally drool over the £400+ packages of crayons... Mine's a cold Sauvignon blanc please and a packet of crisps. Happy to quokka sit, but goats are a step too far for me!

Usual spot on the cushions under the weeping willow with my toes in the stream. Cold glass of dry cider, beaded with drops of condensation, and a plate with a pork pie, a dollop of piccalilli and a couple of crunch sticks of celery. Bliss 😊

bowednotbroken I'd love to go to the Pencil Museum! I think it's mentioned in The Boring Talks episode on pencils (episode 41 on BBC sounds or possibly podcast players).

I was suspended today on twitter for sarcasm in relation to the boxing in a Viz style, and I appealed offering to explain sarcasm to them and apparently I am being restored in half an hour.

Yes, I heard the name long before I could read and didn’t think about it much afterwards as we’d moved away.

It also took me a while to twig when my brother named his company “Penistone Holdings.”

I noticed the clever use of "Pedantry Corner". Otherwise you would be paralysed trying to agree whether it should be "Pedants Corner", "Pedant's Corner" or "Pedants' Corner".

Surely that depends on how many pendants claim ownership.

I honestly don't know. I would be amused to read the alternative arguments.

As I mentioned before, MN already has a Pedants' Corner - correctly punctuated, as a board for a lone pedant would be singularly pointless.
Although I suppose there could be debates between a pedant and a pedant scorner.
One of its features is that Muphry's Law is frequently seen in action.
