After les femmes jiggy had vacated la tutonniere, je had a lovely nap yesterday. I slept through a whole episode of The Crown - very soporific telly.

I have to go for some blood tests tomorrow, including a fasting blood sugar test, so I can't have anything to eat, and just water to drink, after 9pm tonight. They always mutter about my blood sugar - unsurprisingly it is always on the high side, but hasn't yet tipped over into pre-diabetic, so my fingers are crossed that this will still be the case.

I was just going to post that I think we can declare the flood of Reality over as the various medical events that swept over the regulars seemed to be receding, but there are still little puddles of Reality that we have to continue to deal with, like your tests, so good health to all.

Of course in the old, pre-AI days you would sometimes find a picture in a book, of an orchestra or cavalry charge in which everyone was left-handed, but this was because someone printed the photo or painting back to front. Nowadays we have AI to do it for us (& worse).

I had a bloke down on his knees on the floor the other week. He was looking at my arm, then hand then other hand, as he tried to extract some droplets of blood from me, but the scene from the doorway caused one woman to utter "oh my" before she realised what was going on!
