The original premises are getting crowded, we need to expand.

Welcome all women, and well behaved animals.

quantumbutterfly · 02/09/2024 09:52

Ah, when you say snowball I think of advocaat & pop, so I'll pass on that for the moment.😁

Oooh strong tea with sugar! My kinda woman, put my name on the potGrin
It sounds like a lovely if busy day ahead, preparing for #2 grandchild.

Get welly, Boiled et alia.
Alia being the name of your lovely attentive gerbil nurse.

quantumbutterfly · 02/09/2024 09:56

Alia, I like it. Always enjoy a name with meaning and versatility.

You HAD two packets.

Wipes coconut flakes off face and t shirt

Slips empty wrappers back into your pocket

I'll have a strong tea milk one sugar next time someone is near the kettle.

Alia and the rest of the gerbils are doing a fantastic job, although I do keep finding gerbil fur stuck to my dressings!

Can I add a full cooked English breakfast to my cup of tea order? Extra crispy bacon and an extra slice of black pudding.

Thanks.

Tea, one sugar (gently rounded), no milk. And a sno...never mind.

I've only ever met one Alia. She was my dog's 'auntie' when she was a tiny puppy. She got into practice with that litter and when she had her own puppies she was quite the pro.

I'm going to have to have a difficult phone conversation with a difficult person on a painful subject this afternoon. I can't put it off any longer.

A strong coffee and a Tunnock's might help beforehand.

And I will definitely be in later for a stiff drink.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 02/09/2024 13:10

We are all behind you, cheering you on, @Chersfrozenface!

Vegemiteandhoneyontoast · 02/09/2024 13:13

That sounds kind of scary, @Chersfrozenface - we'll have your usual ready as soon as you walk through the door, plus as many support animals/humans as are needed.

lcakethereforeIam · 02/09/2024 13:27

Support menagerie on standby.

Boiledbeetle · 02/09/2024 13:39

I'm just channelling my inner JKR whilst brushing the quokkas, thought I might get the gerbils to stick little bow ties on them. Hopefully that will put a smile on @Chersfrozenface face

The support animals are just having a quick run through of their various tasks once @Chersfrozenface turns up.

It's a work in progess

Oh snowballs- I had forgotten about them. Yum.yum.yum.

Ready with the Tunnocks @Chersfrozenface . Good luck. Think quokka.

ErrolTheDragon · 02/09/2024 14:12

You've omitted Colin, and wtf is that in the front right corner?

It's a qurtle. A quokka with identity issues.

DeanElderberry · 02/09/2024 14:20

What's with the second beast from the left? It seems to have either an extra leg or an extra head in the process of emerging.

I'm also not very keen on the enormous hand on the creature at the top right.

FuzzyPuffling · 02/09/2024 14:22

There's two seagulls. Is that Kev and Sharon?

I didn't omit him honest! "beetle massaging her shoulders and quokkas two seagulls and a cat and a daschund lying at her feet".The AI got confused I think!

DeanElderberry · 02/09/2024 14:33

So it siamese-twinned the cat and the dachshund, and the tortoikka and squirrats are its own idea? Slightly disturbing.

PurpleSparkledPixie · 02/09/2024 14:50

I think it's inhaled some of Boiled's post op drugs. Very Lewis Carroll ish.

Chersfrozenface · 02/09/2024 15:03

Difficult person not answering phone. Have had to send text - not sure if that's worse.

Did I mention that this is in my third language? Which is fine for everyday situations, but I'm not confident of communicating well in more, um, ticklish circumstances.

Do I dare start on the hard stuff now?

Well that's a shitter.

Will a double do you? Or shall I get you a triple?

Ice?
