These are Potato Beetles, presumably what happens when a Beetle meets a Potato and they love each other very very much...

All those documents to analyse is an indictment of some people being slow learners. I remember when the FoI legislation came in in Ireland, at least 20 years ago (and I think we were behind the UK on that one) we were advised never to write anything down that we weren't prepared to stand over in court, or anything about a third party that we couldn't defend if their lawyers got on the case.

Though they do keep telling us that this generation don't talk, either on the phone or in person, just text and otherwise record each passing thought. Very silly.

It's shocking what they've committed to email. The solicitor must have been soooo impressed!

At one point one member of staff seems to understand not committing things to paper so goes and actually talks to someone...then relays the conversation to her boss via the medium of email.

And don't even get me started on admitting, in writing, as they didn't think I'd ever see, that they dropped the ball with regards safeguarding and I slipped through the cracks!
