Pick your battles.

Speak and act when it is safe to do so. Commonsense from the inside, supporting your children and ensuring they know the importance of truth and the reality of biology, not letting the bastards grind you down - they all add up.

If you require an enhanced disclosure maybe you are working with vulnerable people. Staying in place and helping to keep them safe, gently shining a light where possible - not everyone needs to be firing over the battlements, some of us can chip at foundations.

I don't think anyone actually cares whether spaces are "women only" or not. Do I care if there's a convicted rapist in my space, yes - it's irrelevant what their sex or gender is, it's the fact they're a convicted rapist. Stopping trans people from using the same public sink space as me doesn't help me if there's a lesbian sex offender in there.

It's just something else for people to rage about so they can feel sanctimonious and be distracted from their own shitshow lives.

Under UK law only a person with a penis can commit rape.

How can you let all trans women into women's spaces on a self ID basis and simultaneously ensure that no rapist (convicted or otherwise) can enter?
