Surely EVERY TRA has heard of Maya Forstater? She's a thorn in their side! High profile ones like India Willoughby and Katy Montgomerie never stop whinging about her.

If they think that she has lied they may consider that the rest of her evidence is less reliable. She came across as generally evasive anyway. I can't imagine the tribunal will be very impressed.

It think MR realised she would get caught out on that lie,and tried to cover her arse.

That tweet is prior to the tribunal ruling so may not show Rosko is lying.

This is a fair point, but it shows she was following the case, so it would be odd to not know.

It's between the court days and the judgment being handed down I think. Macfarlane is referring to the Ann Sinnott judicial review application.

There is no way MR didn't know about Forstater. She would be a terrible ally if she didn't know.

Already explained who he is, I realise this is a fast moving thread. it's Colin Macfarlane at Stonewall. Rosko's tweet was also to David Paisley who wasn't in the chain so it looks like he retweeted it and Mairi Rosko saw it and responded.

If you check the email they sent there should be two pdf files attached, one is for computers, the other for tablets and phones I think.

I feel very slightly sorry for MR an unpaid volunteer landed with charing a disciplinary panel about sex & gender for an organisation whose CEO is full on TWAW. New to the role and obviously relying on MW for guidance.

When you're young and relatively experienced to such senior roles you need to have sufficient insight to ask why you're being asked to take on such a substantial task and flattered as a Key Opinion Leader. The implicit upside is that you start off unpaid and progress up to the boondoggle carousel that we've seen so often. Progressing from one senior post in a voluntary organisation like Stonewall to another.

Never accept such a post without looking for bear traps and speaking to trusted people about whether there's a poisoned chalice somewhere.

Never ever agree to Chair a disciplinary proceeding like this when you're so inexperienced never mind the insufficient support and resources.

You're not being courted as a current or future KOL, you're being primed as cannon fodder and a disposable shield.

(I can't read Paisleys tweet, but it looks like MR disapproves of "the debate".

I am constantly astonished that some women say they want equality, and yet can’t understand that this means equality for everyone. That simply isn’t equality. Every day I see the damage this debate does to young trans people, and I flit between dismayed and enraged.

Quite. MR had been performative enough ot her tweet saying an article about mayas case had left her shaking with horror.

I would be agog if someone so troubled by the situation, hadnt kept abreast of how the case unfolded.
