Sarah Jane Baker, on the Trans Pride stage, saying

“If you see a TERF, punch them in the fucking face!”

to a cheering crowd :)

NB to MNHQ the video shows this being said. It is not just an allegation being shared.

Give me a single example of a GC event where a platformed speaker called for trans people to be punched in the face.
And actually said it.
Not someone said 'women have rights' and somehow that's a dogwhistle 🙄
Not she said something else but if you reach reaaaallly hard and in bad faith...
Are you genuinely unable to see just how violent your movement is, Merlin or does it not count when it's women?
You're 'whatabouting' and defending a convicted felon who called for women to be assaulted.

A single example? ok. Remember Lily Cade, who had a website with long diatribes about transpeople literally calling for a genocide?

StaunchMomma · 09/07/2023 13:29

This is why I hate the whole debate. It's been lost to hysteria, on both sides, IMO.

No. I've never heard of Lilly Cade.

pontefractals · 09/07/2023 13:32

I'd never heard of Lily Cade so I looked her up. A porn actress saying disgraceful things on her own website is not the same as someone being publicly platformed by an organisation that has the baking of the mayor of London and the police. Try again.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 09/07/2023 13:33

Sarah Jane Baker is likely to have posted on a MN thread about Kellie Jay Keen back in Feb, the time she was in Auckland. Gloating, obvs.

This is a copy and paste of the now deleted tweet from poster "Sjb69" from a conversation I had with a friend at the time:

> The more you hate, the more we'll love🏳️‍⚧️My wife and I love the red suit💖

pontefractals · 09/07/2023 13:33

*backing of the mayor. Though I wouldn't be that surprised if he'd also brought them cookies, tbh.

Signalbox · 09/07/2023 13:33

Surely the police can’t turn a blind eye to this. If this man harms a woman when there is clear evidence of him inciting violence against women to a cheering crowd.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 09/07/2023 13:33

I don't have a screenshot.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 09/07/2023 13:35

I think the first few posts here can show you that certain posters don't care about Baker, his violence and whether women get hurt.

Just worth repeating the names of the Labour MPs who were happy to stand next to this dangerous and violent man at a protest outside Downing street

Olivia Blake MP for Sheffield, Hallam
Nadia Whittome MP for Nottingham East
Lloyd Russell-Moyle MP for Brighton, Kemptown

Ah Nadia of the 'expel them, if they don't accept re-education' quote.
Russell-Moyle, Brighton-Kemptown MP who tried to intimidate Miriam Cates (my favourite Conservative MP who speaks out for women and child safeguarding) in the House of Commons by 'sitting' next to her.
Blake? No idea. Clegg's old seat. Pity Clegg (LibDem) didn't get proper PR out of David Cameron in the coalition deal but it seems behind the scenes, he got a whole lot of the early stages of 'genderwoo' through.

DerekFaker · 09/07/2023 13:40

Have your reported the stalking, doxxing, violent threats and harassment gender criticals are posting on kiwifarms?

The lies never stop. I know why you keep lying about Kiwifarms. You don't want people going over there and seeing the dirty laundry that gets aired. But have yiu ever considered the Streisand Affect?

Anyway:

Reposting people's social media =/= stalking or harrassment and is not illegal.

Doxing, whilst I don't agree with it, is not illlegal.

Making threats is something that seldom happens and constitutes something they call "a-logging" over there, and usually gets deleted. Go ahead and report it if you see it though. I would if it was particularly bad and/or credible.

And using "gender criticals" as a catch-all term to slander people you don't like again. We see you.

Hadley Freeman thread, commenting underneath are gender critical feminists who report being targeted by Sarah Jane Baker trying to make contact with them.

@DerekFaker I'm not sure I would trust a website called "the lies they tell".

Let me guess, they only post about transpeople?

Everything they have posted is backed up by evidence. Wtf does the content of the site or its name matter? Ì

Another of your "NAUGHTY, VAD SITE, DO NOT READ!!!" attempts.

Never heard of her!

There will always be really basic people who spout isgnorant nonsense - in every walk of life, but that has nothing to do with the push back against gender ideology and the protection of women's rights.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 09/07/2023 13:51

Email from Sarah Phillimore as she fears Baker may threaten the attendees of her upcoming event in Manchester

Nellodee · 09/07/2023 13:26

Oh, I think some of them actually believe that becoming trans makes men safe. The ones who are “so open-minded their brains have fallen out.”

Maybe, but I also think lots of them are wealthy enough to know they'll never be sharing a public hospital ward with anyone.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 09/07/2023 13:55

There is that, yes.

I don't think she's part of the GC 'Movement'. The first I'd heard of her was after that BBC article on the cotton celing.

He was following me on twitter. I promptly blocked him, but I wouldn't be surprised if he had sock accounts. He's obsessive, and combined with his violent nature, that's a real worry.

PurpleGreenandWhiteAreTheNewPrimaryColours · 09/07/2023 14:05

Florissante · 09/07/2023 13:03

I'm a non-violent person but if someone punches me then, yes, I will punch back.

You can get done for that, even in self defence if the force is deemed excessive or disproportionate. Of course, in the heat of the moment no one is thinking 'hmm will a jury find this force excessive '. Making it risky to defend oneself from attack.

There's a "TERF" in the comments saying they will "punch [transpeople] back" with an image of a clenched fist holding a spiked knuckle-duster.

That's been archived and reported online to police.

Defending oneself is not a criminal offence so report away matey.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 09/07/2023 14:15

I don't think she's part of the GC 'Movement'. The first I'd heard of her was after that BBC article on the cotton celing.

The only reason that she was included was to tell the story of how the "cotton ceiling" workshop originally came about. She is not a GC feminist, she's a former porn actress.

It's just tedious whataboutery.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 09/07/2023 14:16

Unbelievable and swift response to my crime report to the Met. Text is below. I have of course responded to say it's completely unacceptable and demanding an escalation and reinvestigation.

Seriously?
