NB to MNHQ the video shows this being said. It is not just an allegation being shared.

South Beds a bit strange. Lab doing well there but surely Lib Dem target 🎯? Thought Mad Nads was going to let Boris run there....

TheBiologyStupid · 10/07/2023 11:06

Froodwithatowel · 10/07/2023 10:52

South Beds is also MPless, although the police are currently trying to get some hanger on de-superglued from the seat.

😂

Isn't it odd? When we might possibly have a use for an opinion from a 'serving Policeman', plum silence.

I just had the same thought.

Chequeredred · 10/07/2023 11:16

I suppose the BBC et Al covered the KJK as tranaphobic though
no coverage on this though!

Ereshkigalangcleg · 10/07/2023 11:32

Sarah Phillimore was excellent on Andrew Doyle last night on GB News.

NOT ALL WOMEN ARE EQUAL

As a transwoman I have the right to do just as I please
I can say disgusting things and bring you to your knees.

I can call you every sort of name and you can’t say a word
Because I’m Teflon coated and can say things most absurd.

I can make threats a plenty to any women I dislike
I can even assert you’re aligned with the third Reich.

You silly little women you just keep stickering and boast
Of your shiny little stickers that you stick upon a post.

But I can guarantee there’ll be a policeman at your door
Before you’ve even managed to stick up but a score.

Don’t even think of tying ribbons on a metal fence
As it will cost a pretty penny for your legal defence.

If you dare to say a man can never be female
First you’ll be arrested, then released on bail.

Don’t think of misgendering me for that is just pure hate
Before you even know it, you’ll be given your court date.

Yet as a special sort of woman I can say what I desire
And when I get pulled up on it I’ll say you are a liar.

I won’t even lose my job or get arrested by the cops
For saying hateful things whilst using women as my props.

So I’ll say the quiet bit out loud whilst in a public place:
“If you see a TERF, punch them in the face”

I would have thought this was an offence under S. 3 the public order act 1986, of causing fear of, or provocation of violence, or would that have to be more directly aimed at an individual? Police response that I have heard reported on radio has been that since the threat was not aimed at race or sexual orientation it is not an offence. There is a section of the same act which specifically addresses threat made on those grounds, but that doesn't stop other sections applying! Is this where the expression "cop-out" comes from?

As just a general member of the public, I’m wondering if this reply from the police means that if I made public pronouncements encouraging people to punch car drivers (for damaging the environment), or farmers (if I was concerned about the dairy industry), or miners, or golfers, or Tories, would that be any more or less acceptable than the statement made at the weekend. As far as I know, none of those groups of people are “protected” in that way.

Maybe if we mention certain women his alert will go off?

Love their violence and hate, don't they?

The BBC discreetly mention 'rage' but not the violent threat.

Yes, I've complained to the BBC about the bias in evidence. Editing a photo to remove the truly offensive slogan without any acknowledgement that this had been done is indefensible. Omitting the incitement to violence and the crowd's reaction was worse, of course.

Where's a 'policeman' when you need one eh?

You have to wonder why, if they support this movement, they feel the need to cover up that particular aspect of it in presenting it to the general public.

It's almost as if they know damn well that there's something drastically and indefensibly wrong with it, and are intentionally using tax payer money to deceive the public.

Just had an email from Manchester police to reassure me that Probation will definitely be informed about Baker and they want to help with security for my book launch on 22 July.

I nearly cried on the train. I should not have to be reduced to tears just be told the police will do their job. What a terrible situation we are all in.

Slothtoes · 10/07/2023 12:44

Thank you for complainingItsTheBiologyStupid

Slothtoes · 10/07/2023 12:47

Spero relieved to hear that you will get police security. I’m so sorry that it is necessary.

Hopefully probation will actually do something once they are 'informed'

Glad they are going to be there at the book launch.

It all so wrong. It shouldn't be like this in 2023.

IcakethereforeIam · 10/07/2023 12:50

@Spero Flowers I hope your booklaunch goes well. Bloody typical, I'm away on holiday otherwise I'd loved to have been there. We're so used to expecting nothing that we're grateful for the barest minimum. Even then we manage our expectations. Can never let our guard down.

IcakethereforeIam · 10/07/2023 12:57

Did you read the review by Peppercorn! Although tbf he's a verified purchaser.

We never know these days if the police will bother standing up to these vile aggressive TRAs, but at least this time they've said they will notify probation...hopefully they'll actually do it.

Good luck with your book launch, INSANE you need security for it against these violent looneys.

"Sarah Phillimore has accidentally compiled her own body of evidence against herself and those she has exploited for this dossier of paranoid fantasies are right to remain anonymous"

I'm not the brightest of sparks by any means, but he gave the book 5* but seems to be hateful of the book? Have I got that right?

IcakethereforeIam · 10/07/2023 13:14

Well if he believes men can be women then logic is obviously not his strongest suit.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 10/07/2023 13:16

That person is a TRA. You probably will have heard of them, as they like to be in the limelight.
