From what I understand, on the whole, Matt Walsh is no friend to women, but he does communicate very clearly on this issue, and that's just what we need

I've watched the other video from this event where he speaks to a curly-haired man who identifies as a woman and asks him how he knows he is a woman and to define 'woman.' The man just waffles, but waffles very smugly. He is the adult equivalent of the boy who wanted an invite to the girls-only pyjama party, not appreciating that his very presence would change the atmosphere of the entire party. His view of himself as a woman is utterly dependent on the women in his life telling him he is a woman. He has no conception that those women are only doing so out of, at best, kindness and politeness, at worst, fear of cancellation or fear of him. It really illuminates why these men get so angry when women don't play along with their fantasy life.

I actually felt sorry for the health care worker bloke, he was just too tragic to laugh at whereas the I'm a six figure earner MUM, I just chuckled at.

Matt Walsh was very gentle with his probing and credit to him for doing a good job.

I loved the video of the six figure IT guy who was universally loved by everyone and was a great person. Didn’t occur to him that maybe people in his life are just being polite to him out of kindness. His definition of woman was a person who women decide is a woman, which is deliciously circular.

i think it’s good for these people to engage and actually try to argue their corner but it’s pretty awful how clearly false and stupid their position is. It’s like listening to flat earthers or evangelical Christians who are convinced the earth is 2000 years old. They are funny at first but then just become figures of tragedy.

People with DSDs (not intersex) have asked not to be dragged into this row and it is disrespectful for people to keep doing that.

oh i scrolled down the thread and an interesting possible scenario occurred to me.
Medical emergency, this EMT turns up and the patient (trans woman) says "i think i'm having a miscarriage"
So the EMT starts running the usual tests that a woman would have, ignoring the penis elephant in the room.
Then the insurance company - who are pretty much TWAW - has to pay. What do we think would happen? given the reluctance of the US Health Insurance companies to even pay for necessary treatments

Matt Walsh can be very clear under pressure. But I also have to say, that EMT was also quite brave and they were patient. They gave it a go, and even came back and listened. I only hope that they start to unpick the shite that obviously is now being taught as 'inclusive' in an EMT course.
