One thing I find really offensive- and it's been practised on me in real life- is the patronising 'oh when you are as clever as me, and look into it further, you realise it's actually very complicated. I can't explain it to you because you aren't as clever as me...'.
And as for Matt Walsh, I don't get it? Why is it that we are supposed to distance ourselves from someone because we only agree with some of what they say?
I don't respect and associate with only those people I completely agree with on all subjects, neither do I like everyone who shares my world view.
Jordan Peterson is great in some situations, remaining calm and analytical when surrounded by emotion. I really enjoy that.
In others I feel like telling him to 'shut up, you don't speak for women'.
I don't understand why we are expected to be tribesmen, to clan together with the like minded and agree on all things.
If I say 'Matt Walsh is great on this', then that is exactly what I mean.
'This is good,' means THIS 3min video is good. It doesn't mean I'm crashing on Matt Walsh, agree with everything he says and want to have his babies.
Oops. Brief rant. Sorry.
