WHAT rights?

TQ+ people have the same, equal rights as any one else.

The 'right' being sought is in fact privilege. To be exempt from the boundaries that restrict others, to falsify legal documents, to loosen child safeguarding where it is inconvenient, and to remove long established rights from women.

Time to challenge these verbal fig leaves in every interview, he gets away with a lot of them.

I'm watching with interest as to how the Guardian reports this, I don't think they would even print those words. Will they just ignore this?

Being a woman is 100% biological.

There is no such thing a birth gender.

Oh God, really? Trans rights can't override women's rights but you can't say that women have cervixes but women are really important to the Labour party but it should be easier to achieve the legal fiction of being a woman and apparently they need to appeal to Stevenage Woman and women should be able to speak about their issues, but not Rosie Duffield, if she talks then fuck her? Something clear, like that?

When he means that those ‘women’ with penises are included in the ‘women’s’ rights that trans rights should not ‘override’ his statement is meaningless and circular.

The thing is I don't trust him at all. I fully think he could say all of this now aka its not a priority, womens rights shouldn't be overridden and then as soon as he steps foot over the threshold of number 10 he does another volte face.

I want to hear if the rest of the Labour party shadow ministers have also changed their positions or are women still rights hoarding dinosaurs?

He does actually think we’re stupid doesn’t he? So he thinks women can have a penis. He also pretends that implementing self ID won’t ‘roll back women’s rights’ when it absolutely conflicts with them. His position hasn’t changed. He hasn’t learnt from Scotland. He can get stuffed.

Well yesterday the Labour Party was committing to “trans rights” and “modernising the GRA” and today he went to Kent and didn’t tell his only Labour MP in the county (Rosie Duffield) that he was going. He’s a lying, duplicitous weasel.
