I'm vegan. I expect you think that excludes me from this thread. But...but, I eat vegan cheese!
Some people say that vegan cheese isn't really cheese, and so I can't possibly know what it's like to eat real cheese. I find that really hurtful.
Vegan cheeses are cheese (VCAC).

We're friendly up until the point you have to choose between the Blue Schism, the Generally Cheesy Schism, and the Plastic Cheese Schism. Then it all gets a bit tense and sniffy.

I'm an absolute food wanker about a lot of things - I eat seasonally, make almost everything from scratch, am quite sniffy about gins and and have my own jeely bag but I also harbour a love of 'burger cheese' type things - Frazzles, baked beans with those wee sausages, tinned rice pudding etc.

And I hate wine. There, I said it. I got told off for putting orange juice into expensive champagne to make a Bucks Fizz.

@Waitwhat23 I have no idea what a 'jeely bag' is, and I'm scared to Google it (I'm still dealing with an infestation of Modibodi), but I'm right with you with the beans and the teeny sausages.

I really want cheese now. I'm on a diet ffs and doing intermittent fasting so no eating after 6pm. I'm having cheese instead of porridge for breakfast. I'm planning on trying my hand at homemade crumpets. I've heard cheese on crumpets is delicious but I've never tried it. I'm trying to decide what my favourite cheese is. Mexicana with Mayo on bagels, Philadelphia on cinnamon raisin bagels, cheese on toast with HP sauce, mozzarella stringing merrily when you bite into a slice of hot pizza, ricotta and mozzarella blissfully combined in ziti, ricotta in raspberry cake, Philadelphia in cheesecake, halloumi roasted with red peppers, mushrooms and red onions and wrapped in a tortilla or pitta with tzatziki or red pepper hummus, cheese and pineapple on sticks, sliced babybels with sliced cox's pippins and fig, plum and cranberry biscuits, the big slice of cheese melted on top of your burger, tomato and mascarpone sauce, melted cheddar with a dollop of sour cream and chive dip on an oven baked jacket potato, the list is endless and delicious.

I've heard cheese on crumpets is delicious but I've never tried it.

😄 it's a bag to make fruit jelly - you put the fruit in it, hang it over a chair which is over a bowl, and the juice drips into it (usually overnight).

It's just reminded me of this Scottish kid's song (which has more verses than I'd realised) -
