I imagine Mridul Wadhwa, the trans woman CEO of Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre, who thinks that women who want women-only services are "bigoted" and should expect to be "challenged on your prejudices" is less than happy.
If you're a woman in Edinburgh who's been raped and in need of sympathetic, woman-centred support, where are you going to turn? Beira's Place - or the organisation that thinks you're a bigot?
I hope that the trustees of Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre have a good, hard think about their priorities.
