It’s going faster now. I wonder if that is because of that appalling Scottish court judgement last week that ‘sex’ in the 2010 Equalities act does not mean sex is “biological” or it would have said so.

That and the silly second definitions for 'woman' and 'man' in the Cambridge dictionary.

There have been women’s groups out this past few weeks leafleting and talking to the public. Maybe that will be gathering the momentum.

Numbers climbing rapidly. It’s great to see.

No matter what happens in Scotland this week, we’ll keep fighting for reality and for clarity to protect all vulnerable groups of people - including women.

The number of people I met today, strangers on the street, who knew about males in female sport was very encouraging.

Young males, older males, young women and older women.

A huge range and frankly anyone trying to tell me now that the majority support males in female sports or single sex spaces obviously exist in a bubble. They are obviously not speaking to people on the street.

I was scrolling. Honestly, it was amazing to talk to people. I heard so many stories from women who were so proud of fighting for women’s rights in the 70’s and 80’s, of men who were concerned for their children- telling me what their children were learning in school. Young men telling me about Hubbard and Thomas. Young women actually engaging in discussion and admitting they did not realise about 85% of males kept their penises and that self ID was being decided in Scotland and the changes there. And that when they heard this they were very concerned.

It is MN FWR that has given me the depth of background to have these discussions in the street. And for that I have to thank you all. Even those who come and scold us. Because those that do that simply give us the words to use for those who disagree.

But mostly this board really is a great source of information. Thank you all!!!

This stat needs to be on more signs at protests. I have a hunch most of the be kind cohort are still thinking of post-surgical, penis-free transexuals when they cheer on self-ID.
