I just love this woman! She undoubtedly has the Midas touch when it comes to marketing and publicity.

I have been to several of her events over the years, and she has time for each and every woman who comes to see her.

Any other fans here?

I've watched all of the OJ response. It's all moral panic guff.

Moral panic, my arse. If you think that women objecting to being incarcerated with rapists, claiming to be women, or crippled by a bloke called Sharon in a rugby game, your moral compass is spinning like a propeller.

I know you won’t answer @EastLondonObserver , but DO you think women worrying about being locked up with rapists (something that has actually happened) is ‘moral panic’ ?

I said average, not most successful.

it’s very easy to find tutorials online on how to make good videos

Her delivery seems very influenced by LBC presenter rants and the kind of hot under the collar soliloquies you get on US right wing TV.

if this is your poster woman, you’re fucked.

Well, fortunately, KJK is one of many, many GC female campaigners, lots of whom use YouTube in some form, so plenty of others to listen to if KJK isn’t to your personal taste.

Helen Joyce is my favourite and I also like a lot of the GC men that are now content creating too. Clive Simpson especially.

Nonetheless, Kellie Jay is seemingly the best at getting thousands of ordinary women involved. Terf Talk Tuesdays are always interesting, such a variety of callers and from multiple countries. Clearly her reach is wide.

Interesting to see Konstantin from Triggernometry’s Oxford speech go super viral this week.

I think their first KJ interview is still their most watched full length interview episode?

I suspect 2023 is going to be a great year for GC campaigners, including KJK!

’the kind of hot under the collar soliloquies you get on US right wing TV.’

The left wing news networks in the US have rapidly plummeting viewing figures and aren’t doing nearly as well as right wing rivals, Fox, so KJK not being your cup of tea seems unlikely to be a problem in terms of KJK’s goal, which is reaching lots and lots of people.

Well of course there was the student led White Rose who bravely spoke out but many of them and their followers were executed.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Rose

I'm Jewish and most of my extended family were shot, starved or gassed by the Nazis.

Would you please stop using their deaths as some sort of shit metaphor to put women down?

Thanks.

I don't think he really thinks that KJK is an ineffective communicator, he just doesn't like her message. Look at the numerous interviews, where pompous posh blokes have tried to put words in her mouth; she just sticks to her facts and points out that she didn't say what they claimed.

Course.

KJK multitasks throughout her podcasts 😄

She acknowledges people listening and sending support, she says thank you for donations. she talks about upcoming events and tours and she reiterates her message - be the billboard.

And then she tackles any issues that have arisen.

She's communing with her supporters, not just communicating. It's collaborative, it's symbiotic, it's an exchange.

Unsurprising that men don't really get it.

But these are all tiny issues. Wouldn’t you be better off focussing elsewhere if you want to help women?

You think female prisoners being raped is a tiny issue?

Tiny to you but not to me. Even one women harmed in favour of a man is one woman to many

SinnerBoy · 20/01/2023 18:45

But these are all tiny issues.

Really, you need professional help.

NecessaryScene · 20/01/2023 18:58

Fucking hell.

But as ever, I feel compelled to ask (despite no-one ever getting anything constructive rather than critical out of you - this is just to keep highlighting that pattern).

What would you say are the better places to focus to help women? Let's hear your priorities.

NecessaryScene · 20/01/2023 19:01

And of course, note, it only makes sense to have this discussion about campaigning priorities.

As an actual policy decision, stopping women being raped in prison or having their sports screwed up is the easiest thing in the world. Both problems can be solved 100% at no cost, by simply writing something down on a bit of paper. It's a no-brainer. To not do it is simply negligent.

It's not like solving a really difficult problem like domestic abuse.

beastlyslumber · 20/01/2023 19:23

Tiny issues? Fucking hell, mate. What would be a big issue to you?

Lol - cos only women answer tweets, emails and take calls while ‘presenting’. Turn on and talk radio show.

can you stop going on about this and explain why women being locked up with rapists (this has happened in this county) is a tiny problem?

Boiledbeetle · 20/01/2023 18:45

Rigghhht. But there are many issues where many many more women are harmed.

RoseslnTheHospital · 20/01/2023 19:59

Riggghhtt, so it's ok to allow a small number of women to be harmed because...? Especially when as has been previously mentioned, protecting them is very easy and quick to do. There is a lack of will and a lack of care, not a lack of solutions.

RufustheFloralmissingreindeer · 20/01/2023 20:11

Is the reason im not getting an answer to the anti semitism question because the original accusation was a load of bollocks?

I wonder if ELO thinks that we could simply solve all sex based suffering of women and girls if only we would all wear trousers, cut our hair short and change our names to Dave. 🤔
