I just love this woman! She undoubtedly has the Midas touch when it comes to marketing and publicity.

I have been to several of her events over the years, and she has time for each and every woman who comes to see her.

@Datun I am very glad to hear she was a body guard and I am sure she has taken professional advice about protection for herself and family because she is not stupid.

You'd think, wouldn't you, with all the current debates around the concepts of censorship, cancellation, free speech, etc, that people would actually understand this.

Everyone should be able to publicly air their views. I may not like them. I may find some abhorrent but by not allowing those with unsavoury or not politically in line with current thought to speak publicly you drive those people underground where their dubious thought processes can flourish unfettered and away from public scrutiny and opinion.

I'd much prefer them say out loud so as to have a chance to debate the points and to find out why they thought that way and to see if they could be persuaded to think differently.

That's pretty simplistic isn't it?

Persuasive and powerful speakers can convince others to abominable actions with their rhetoric in the right circumstances; we are all pretty dumb really. And we can all shift values in the right contexts, and subsequently perceive and justify our new values as reasonable.

I am sure Hitler for eg. had very persuasive arguments for the majority population he wanted to appeal to. I am sure many said he had great, necessary ideas to address the perceived problems of that time. Probably not the Jewish & minority populations that his rhetoric was targeted against, however.

@suggestionsplease1 sorry, just to be clear what you're saying here is that KJK is just like Hitler in what she says and that her arguments and rhetoric are as dangerous and wrong? Or are you making some other point here?

What, for talking in public? If anything happened to KJK about 50 women would replace her. There is no way to get the Genie back in the Bottle, women are pretty easy going, but if you push too hard on the boundaries there to protect us and children we will fight and not back down. I know so many women who are furious but aren’t on the streets, but it looks like this the year that parents and mothers in particular have really had enough.

The woman speaking was clearly talking about the effects of propaganda on a population when authoritarians do everything they can to shut everyone else up.
