I just love this woman! She undoubtedly has the Midas touch when it comes to marketing and publicity.

I have been to several of her events over the years, and she has time for each and every woman who comes to see her.

That Wikipedia entry starts with:

She is not an anti-transgender rights activist. She is pro-woman.

There is an entire section on 'Anti-Trans Activism'.

So, really ELO I think your bar for accuracy is very low from the very start.

"Keen opposes civil rights protections for gender identity, particularly laws and policies that allow transgender people to be legally recognized as their gender, to use public facilities according to their gender, and to compete in sports, with an emphasis on opposing transgender women's inclusion in women's spaces."

KJK does not oppose 'civil rights protections' for trans people. ELO how about you tell us what 'civil rights protections' do you think that trans people don't have?

Please list them.

Because being 'legally' recognised as their gender does not automatically grant any male access to female single sex spaces and sports. Yet, this wikipedia entry seems to think that is a 'civil right' that should be automatically granted.

And the articles that have used for sources are not known for their balanced views. Some, such as Pink News, seems to have very low bars for evidence at all (as Julie Bindel can attest to).

Take for instance one of the sources from the first paragraph that covered the December protest that was violent and abusive in New York. It seemed to avoid mentioning the assault and spitting by trans protested, it seemed to avoid mentioning the abuse that two trans models gave to feminists merely attending to speak in public.

So, I think that anyone reading that Wikipedia entry would indeed benefit from looking further and seeing original source material. Generally there is a video from events that have been used to report on.

Strangely, my teen has been taught to do this at their school. They are taught that everything on wikipedia should be checked at original source and bias checked.

Yet... ELO is here telling us all that wikipedia is a source of 'truth' 100% of the time and 100% accurate.

Adulting is pretty hard. We know this.

OP I have no interest in speaking directly to KJK. Already have a couple of years back and got her number . Saleswoman for the fasc. Not genuinely interested in woman's rights . A horrible person.
She has caused those opposed to gender ideology so much damage and damaged the feminist cause against trans extremism. Maybe that's her plan all along ? Or her handlers ? And you lot can't see it .

Thanks @Helleofabore great video. I wonder what the audience made of her presentation. I’m glad that KJK is willing to speak to anyone who will listen and to discuss/debate with anyone who will engage. Dialogue is essential.

No, you're quite right about KS. She just messages my friends asking them to disassociate from me if I won't shut up, says she can't support over York because the HoD is a friend of hers (whilst - rightly - objecting that silence from her colleagues is complicity), and that yes we all know about the sex pest but can I please shut up for the good of the international movement and when I say NO continues messaging people about me and others instead. Whatever her other virtues, transparency and integrity are not amongst them.

I'll take KJK who is out there, engaging with women, giving them a voice, and taking actual risks over the careerist brand builders whose feminism never leaves whatever conference venue on their perpetual victimhood tour any day of the bloody week.

I've spoke to quite a few of you KJK fans before and most of you were Tories and actually transphobic instead of genuinely concerned about women and girls' safe spaces.
Bindel and Women's Place got the measure of Posie very early on. Maybe because they are real working class feminists who are not using the very real fears of women and girls concerned about gender ideology and the erosion of women's rights to build the fascist tendency and make Posie plenty of dosh. Not too smart eh ?
