mmm... sharing platforms with holocaust deniers, racists and anti abortionists
So she spoke at a conference and had a 'selfie' taken with someone she didn't know and she is now 'sharing platforms with holocaust deniers'.
It was a conference. If a person is invited to speak at a conference does that mean they align with everyone else at that conference, or even that their opinion they are talking about aligns with the organisers of the conference?
You are not really good at this adulting thing are you?
Some people can go and speak at a conference and give an alternative viewpoint to the rest of the speakers. Even an opposing view point.
And can be in photos with them. Without agreeing with their view points.
How bizarre to just keep repeating the same old tired arguments.
She has been pretty clear that she will accept most invitations to talk. She is single issue and believes, as to many people, that getting her view point across can mean that even the most racist, sexist and abhorrent people can still hear her perspective on things. They might listen and they might not. They might agree and they might not.
She is also very clear that she is not anti-abortion and nor is she racist.
Reasonable adults don't live in such a narrow existence. And I would like to think that most adults fully understand that people with perfectly legal views can still speak in public and it is up to the listener if they choose to listen.
If you cannot comment about the things she says and continue to resort to 'guilt by association', you really have nothing of substance to say.
