I feel quite sad about how nasty and sneery some people are being towards me, tonight. When i was only trying to help to the best of my knowledge

Apologies for yawning Karensalright. I was tired and a bit worried and your posts came across as abrupt and patronising but I can see now that you meant to be helpful and I shouldn’t have yawned at you so sorry about that.

Propertylover · 14/05/2024 06:31

Just to add to the GDPR debate.

I know some posters have said differently but I have always used my real name in previous hearings. I have also followed on both here and TT.

I have known for other hearings some posters, post the names of well known people who were observing and used their real names. Where does this sit under the courts rules?

Thinking back to the comparison with in person viewing. There doesn’t seem to be any restriction on naming people you identify? The press do it sometimes (eg often identifying family members of the accused or victim in the gallery in criminal cases)

SidewaysOtter · 14/05/2024 10:13

Anyone else waiting to be let in?

chilling19 · 14/05/2024 10:14

Yes I am 👋

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 14/05/2024 10:15

Yes I am too. Nervous about the tech working. Fingers crossed.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 14/05/2024 10:16

Will be following here!

JollyJanuary · 14/05/2024 10:16

Yes. I'm oddly nervous

GCITC · 14/05/2024 10:17

Unsure as to which audio option to choose.

I want to hear but I don't want you to hear me!

Mic off and speaker on

ickky · 14/05/2024 10:18

Mine says "when the meeting starts we'll let people know you are waiting". Is that what you all have?

Someone in the meeting should let you in soon - that's what I have.

Pyjamagame · 14/05/2024 10:19

It's all I have

SidewaysOtter · 14/05/2024 10:19

I'm in the meeting now. You can't have your mic on even if you want to, but I've also taped a post-it note over my camera just in case.

Yes, it's a standard Teams lobby. Anyone want to start chanting Waiting For The Conference Host To Join?

A wren has just dashed past my window. I take that as a good omen.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 14/05/2024 10:19

Same @ickky I've gone in with everything on just in case. Feel very antsy.

GCITC · 14/05/2024 10:20

I miss WFTCHTJ

Did they ask you to ID yourself?

Manxexile · 14/05/2024 10:21

Sorry for being thick but can someone direct me to the email address to ask to join as an observer

Thanks

Pyjamagame · 14/05/2024 10:22

Still waiting

I didn't like it when he went off script last time and added 'If YOU are the host...' That gave me a start and I logged back off in a fright.

ickky · 14/05/2024 10:22

@Manxexile No, they are being very strict with this tribunal, it needed an order from the Judge to allow us to observe. Deadline to request was last Friday by 4pm.

No. But teams does show my initials so they must know who it is. I don't know if meeting IDs are person-specific too?

JollyJanuary · 14/05/2024 10:24

I'm still not in
