How can this be allowed?

I've been scratching my head wondering what this reminded me of and it's just come to me. It's like a sketch out of The League of Gentlemen.

Westfacing · 17/09/2022 15:56

Someone please tell me that this is fake!

Surely no school would allow such a grotesque parody of womanhood in the classroom.

WarriorN · 17/09/2022 11:14

We had our updated safeguarding training last week.

The code of conduct documents are getting longer. Which is good. "Appropriate" is a common word.

That teacher wouldn't get within 1 mile of our school under that document.

Again I'd like to hope that enforcement will be rigorous. I certainly hope that no exceptions will be made for members of a sacred caste. I'm not too confident though.

EsmaCannonball · 17/09/2022 16:25

The female students and staff of that school must feel so demeaned by this and everyone must feel so degraded by being obliged to participate in someone else's sexual fetish. They must know he's getting off on it.

That's one of the many problems with the 'don't be rude and stare at the flasher' school of feminism. It requires determined stupidity and for everyone to pretend they don't know what they know. And when people see a man like this, they know.

Ritascornershop · 17/09/2022 16:31

@WarriorN Yes, I’m in Canada, though a different province to this teacher. I worked in schools and can verify both that gender ideology is encouraged in schools & that in my province (in state schools) teachers often dress very casually.

I’m on my phone so can’t do a word search, but a look at the BC Code for Educators and the BCTF (teachers’ union) contract shows no mention of dress code that I can see.

It is incredibly difficult to get rid of, or even discipline teachers. They will lose their teaching license if it’s proven they sexually abused a student (including of course, older teens who they may claim provided “consent”). Other cases, including racism and sexism, can be more difficult. I’ve seen them shuffled to another school after hitting a young child.

Again, I’m not in Ontario (where the school in question is), but the teaching culture is quite similar in some regards in the two provinces and, as many have noted, Canada is well entrenched right now in “be kind” gender ideology and devoted to non-thinking.

Any sensible person would say that what this guy was wearing was inappropriate, but when you're so far down this rabbit hole, people just can't.

It's not nice that people become involuntarily involved with this guy's fantasies, but I don't know how legally classify that, unless he had clear signs of sexual arousal (which then becomes a child protection issue). Perhaps even us mocking the guy is helping his fantasy? (Not a pleasant thought).

After seeing a lot of young teenage boys (through links on GC sites etc) being told that their sexual fetish is in fact gender dysmorphia by various pressure groups and charities, I grew worried about a whole generation not even knowing that it is that.

Yes. It's been deliberately portrayed as something it quite clearly isn't.

What's to stop someone entering politics on an independent ticket, part of whose manifesto would be to get rid of all this shit. And they post photos of Yaniv and this guy and all the rest of it and say if you don't want this vote for me.

Because, despite mainstream media not reporting it, as has happened here, more and more people will become personally, and specifically, affected by gender ideology.

And eventually, they will end up voting for the person who will get rid of it.

We don't have this level of batshittery, and people already saying they will vote for which ever party sorts it.

ReunitedThorns · 17/09/2022 17:33

@Datun Unfortunately anyone who stood in politics for that would instantly be called "far-right".

NecessaryScene · 17/09/2022 17:37

There was a little bit in the latest Mess We're In - I believe it was in response to the Canadian Green Party pronoun crisis, but it fits this too:

Arty: Yeah, but Canada's taking the hard road. They're not taking the, like, smart-people-stopping-the-bus-before-it-goes-off-the-cliff road, they're, like, crashing into the ground off the cliff, and then realising there was a cliff, you know? They're like, let's go over this cliff and then see how painful it is. That's the Canada way.

Graham: The bus is on fire and they're kind of going like this - "hmmm".

ScreamingMeMe · 17/09/2022 18:17

This is allegedly an email from the school.

Would you want your child to be taught by someone who looked like this?
ThickCutSteakChips · 17/09/2022 18:19

That just cannot be for real.

ImNotAnExpert · 17/09/2022 18:20

Looks pretty as you'd expect, ScreamingMeMe.

ImNotAnExpert · 17/09/2022 18:26

School's 'faculty' page is no longer showing the teacher's name. It was there yesterday.

TheKeatingFive · 17/09/2022 18:28

If that's true ...

'Regardless of body type/size'

For the love of god, can we call this pathetic gaslighting out? 🤦‍♀️

Ritascornershop · 17/09/2022 18:56

That email is very believable as a response if this is true, typical school arse-covering. In the unlikely event coverage goes mainstream it could finally peak more Canadians.

ImherewithBoudica · 17/09/2022 19:33

No, gender expression and body size does not allow for totally inappropriate dressing in the workplace. Millions of people managing this while being appropriate at the same time, it's not difficult.

MangyInseam · 17/09/2022 19:41

ReunitedThorns · 17/09/2022 11:02

There is a lot of talk about it being a fetish (which it clearly is), but I wonder if the man in question knows it's a fetish or instead thinks that he is really transgender because that is what all these groups tell him it is? Is he another "victim" (I deliberately put that in quotes) of the affirmation culture?

I don't know about this guy, but I think some of these men really think what they feel is "womanhood" of some kind.

Particularly if they are also inclined to narcissism to some degree, or are not all that bright, or maybe in some cases are too bright without being properly empathetic.

The fact that there are so many sources affirming it to be true isn't going to help matters either.

PickAChew · 17/09/2022 19:43

I can't imagine this teacher's gender "expression" sitting all that well with some people's religion.

NecessaryScene · 17/09/2022 19:43

The fact that there are so many sources affirming it to be true isn't going to help matters either.

Yep, that's kind of it, isn't it?

"Are you a teenage girl, uncomfortable with her body? You're a boy!"

"Are you a grown man who gets turned on at the idea of wearing a short skirt and giant prosthetic breasts in public? You're a woman!"

Unsure33 · 17/09/2022 19:50

I am not sure . You can go on the website for the school and the teacher Is there and the school have made a statement .

MangyInseam · 17/09/2022 19:51

Ha, I am not surprised it is in Oakville. I imagine many of the parents would be terrified to embrace wrongthink.

Something I will add is that I don't think safeguarding training is as advanced in Canada as in the UK. Obviously there are rules and people think it's important, but elements of it are less explored. IMO.

TERFwithAcat · 17/09/2022 19:58

Poor kids.

CortexInferior · 17/09/2022 20:03

I, for one, feel deliriously happy with
shit like this.

They just love hanging themselves, don't they?
They've already made bespoke ropes & nooses.
Pissed themselves in the process too.
We (and I mean everybody) need to see this
kind of TRA clusterfucks on a daily basis.
Educate oneself, right?

This is what an "oppressed & marginalized"
minority looks like. How it behaves.
Happy to join?
Eager to become "an ally"?
Keen on shredding the "cotton ceiling"?
Well, then crack on and take your part in
the social justice struggle.
Victory is yours and it looks precisely like that.
Very tasty, indeed.
Both aesthetically and ethically pleasing;
which is what we all want:
beauty and goodness personified.
Hallelujah.

bettedaviseyes1999 · 17/09/2022 21:15

My BF DC attends this school.
It is 100% legit.
I despair.

bettedaviseyes1999 · 17/09/2022 21:18

Friend's DS thinks it's hilarious. Not sure how I feel about that.

grannyjacob · 17/09/2022 21:19

bettedaviseyes1999 Do you know what your friend and their child think about the way this teacher presents? Are any parents objecting?
