It's terrible. I'm going to struggle to articulate this but school boys (and girls) learning about awful stereotypes like this is terrible for women and for those men who might want to live a quiet life as what used to be known as a transsexual and also for women. Especially women with an unfashionable body type. I can't explain clearly why I think this is so bad for the young boys and girls at this school and God knows my teenage self and friends would have been merciless with the jokes but in these days of stereotyping and pushing young children who don't conform into a medical pathway this is really unhelpful.

Her application to the Human Rights Tribunal was refused the first time she tried to lodge it & though she was granted leave to try again it was with strict additional criteria (unsure as to what). They apparently began a hearing in February 2018 but no decision has ever been published. Possibly the university paid her off to get her to withdraw the complaint; or she went out of bounds & got binned… I’m not sure if the Tribunal could suggest mediation at that stage, but if she agreed to mediation rather than going straight into litigation & worked something out there, no decision would appear either. (I quite like they offer mediation; but yes, they’re a completely captured institution.)

I get the school. To an extent. The assistant head is also allegedly trans identified, they are trying to cover their arses, legally. They are between a rock and a hard place. It's very, very concerning that they can't acknowledge children in their care being subjected to a male adult sexual fetish, because of laws and regulations that they put in place.

@Datun this is what we have been saying all along, right? Every single bit of acceptance leads to this. We all know men will take a mile for every inch, predators will play any game, exploit any chink. Acceptance of any male assuming a female identity eventually leads here, and these authorities have walked cheerfully, nay, run, into a blind corner. The NHS denying the rape of a woman in their care, because there were 'no men' present. It's all there.

My working theory is this is a psy op by two covert terf groups who don’t know the other is a terf. The male teacher is a terf who is secretly taking the piss about transition to prove how stupid the rules are. But the school board is also secretly a terf hive and so they’re also allowing it to make a point about how far things have gone, except they don’t know the teacher is a terf so they think it’s an actual TW. Meanwhile, the teacher thinks the school board are all TRAs and is getting more outrageous to see how far he can push things.

At this point the tacit acceptance of a fetish that clearly relies on deliberately outraging decency seems to be baked in.
