The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

Is there any evidence of any threats made to TRAs?

I see that people are still using abusive pseudonyms to taunt Allison, they are talking about it in chat box.

I suppose trans activists will be crowing from the rooftops that the tribunal decision can be interpreted to mean that it's gender critical people who make the death threats.

It's tit for tat I think because someone asked for the abusive name to be acted on.

The decision of the tribunal seems to be unravelling slightly under the counsel for both sides requesting specifics of how it will operate. This is a bit of a mess.

So, is it the case that someone/org cannot directly quote or publish something from the bundle, but they could paraphrase in their own words what it contains?

How do you access the online link? I've emailed the court but not sure there's more to it than that?

Bundles are put together by the most junior person around, usually a trainee solicitor
or a trainee’s assistant. But that isn’t the cause of the problem. After the bundle is finished and has been photocopied 7+ times (on ancient overused photocopiers thet frequently jam and shuffle) and copies given to the various lawyers clients and judges, THEN the various senior lawyers suddenly think of brilliant new arguments at last minute that require extra documents. BUT the other side’s lawyers have already started writing their argument and refer eg to exhibit A, B, Z etc. So you can’t rearrange the bundle.

So instead the trainee creates a new index with eg Exhibit Q.1 and Exhibit Q.2.

Then the other side’s laweyers think of genius new last minute arguments/ evidence that they want to add to the trial bundle and demand thst this is done, so then you have Exhibit Q.2(i) etc

Then more copies are needed and the trainee who has been up all night prepping for trial and is now having a nervous breakdown and whose eyes are glazed from all the proofreading doesn’t spot that the photocopier shuffled pages/ the senior barrister has reordered the documents becuase he ‘liked it better how his last trial had it’ etc etc etc

It does seem a mess, yes. Is it because there are too many lawyers involved? Just one big Argument Of Lawyers (collective noun).

I should add, I'm more curious about the bundle now, given that fuss that's been made about it. I've not bothered to get access before but that's the Streisand effect, innit? 😁
