The Tribunal will start on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

I have sent a request but haven't had anything back yet. Hopefully nearer the time.

I'm itching to post an 'irony' gif in the chat. I wouldn't of course.

tabbycatstripy · 03/05/2022 11:05

It's not an open sesame. :)

ickky · 03/05/2022 11:05

Loving AH saying orally, sounds like the builders from Fawlty Towers. 😄

Has anyone tried to open the link to the docs in chat? I daren't...

Cailleach1 · 03/05/2022 11:08

I'm sure there are people with photographic 'memories', in any case. People could share their 'memorising' workload.

Colour me surprised that Stonewall don't want their m.o. to be laid out bare.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 03/05/2022 11:08

I want to add 'au contraire, Mr Hochauser!'

I'll keep my powder dry too, Pyjama.

Signalbox · 03/05/2022 11:08

Mr Hochhauser seems a bit rattled.

nauticant · 03/05/2022 11:08

EJ: Should press be allowed to have a downloadable version and not press?

An interesting question.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 03/05/2022 11:09

I thought the same, ickky! 😂

I have, it took around 5 minutes to load. Then you try to go to a different page and it also takes a while to load. I have a really good laptop and lots of ram, so not a hardware issue.

It is. Looking forward to what happens here.

nauticant · 03/05/2022 11:10

AH for GCC wants no one, whoever they are, to have downloadable versions of the witness statements, ie documents that will be available after the trial is over.

DomesticatedZombie · 03/05/2022 11:10

I have accessed the pdf, yes. It takes a long time to open as it's so large.

DomesticatedZombie · 03/05/2022 11:12

Judge seems fairly sensible so far.

Signalbox · 03/05/2022 11:12

Judge seems fairly sensible so far.

One gets the sense that she's not going to be swayed by hyperbole.

DomesticatedZombie · 03/05/2022 11:14

Hyperbole? Brace yourselves ...

Rightsraptor · 03/05/2022 11:15

The other side talk of the dangers of letting the genie out of the bottle. Well, if that hadn't happened with the GRA 2004 and the proposed self ID amendment we would be here, would we?

Zeugma · 03/05/2022 11:15

As expected, a timely comeback from BC.

Signalbox · 03/05/2022 11:16

I wonder if Stonewall Barristers are instructed to have a tantrum if the judge doesn't do what they say :D

Pluvia · 03/05/2022 11:16

AH: Tribunal Tweets has13000 followers who could download the bundle! Panic! 13000 individuals who could then pass the information on to others.

Ben saying that once a document has been referred to it's in the public domain and can be referred to and shared.

tabbycatstripy · 03/05/2022 11:17

Bundle just opened for me and it is a MONSTER.

tabbycatstripy · 03/05/2022 11:19

BC is right that it's almost impossible to follow the proceedings with that bundle. Disgraceful.

exwhyzed · 03/05/2022 11:19

BC offering a very sensible compromise.

I get the feeling EJ is itching to allow the bundles to be downloaded and just needs someone to put forward a sensible way of handling it which BC has done.

Pluvia · 03/05/2022 11:19

Remember Denton's playbook. Work in the shadows, work through proxies and friends, work covertly because Trans ideology won't be popular with the public. Keep things quiet, conceal, hide, never let anyone know what the real intention is.

DomesticatedZombie · 03/05/2022 11:20

BC is very sensible.
