The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

BC can quote Stonewalls own website which defines homosexuality as same gender attracted. I cant wait to see BC Pick that l apart.

We have to hope that the judge ‘gets it’ that Stonewall is misrepresenting the law.

Even the updated Equal Treatment Bench Book seems to use 'same-sex' and disaggregates 'LGB' from 'gender identity' and 'T' in the chapter on Sexual Orientation.

YAY! So glad for Allison, it seems like a huge amount to raise but there are so many people who support her and what she is doing.

Also, if you take out the two 50k donations, the average donation is just under £50, which just goes to show there are thousands of us out there willing to give what we can to support this.

As an argument, it's clearly nonsense. It is obviously women who are most affected by it, so shouldn't that be discrimination by itself, quite apart from who actually talks about it?

Yeah I wondered that. Allison's belief is basically one in favour of women's rights on the basis of sex, so to stop someone speaking up about that is to discriminate against women as a sex. But as a pp said maybe it is too much like common sense. I mean if I spoke up about gay rights and my employer penalised me, would they be guilty of discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation even though I'm not gay? I don't know. Probably not.

If you complain to your employer that they're mistreating a gay colleague because he's gay, and the employer dismisses you because of your complaint, you can bring a discrimination claim. It's a victimisation complaint. I think so, anyway.

Maybe the could use the list of 4000 accounts the TRA'S used to get people (majority female) banned from twitter as an example that it is mostly Women who are GC.

Yes, I requested the access details after the hearing had started because I knew I wouldn’t be able to join until today. Just logged in and am in the waiting-room (though it did help a bit having attended Maya's hearing!)

What is the basis for the reluctance to publish the documents? I don’t get the justification (although I can see it’s bad PR for some people).
