So calling Alexis a man is transphobic?! If they believed for one second Alexis was a woman, they would stand by it and the festival would go ahead. They know they're talking shit and have pulled the mean-women-are-a-danger-to-delicate-people-like-Alexis card. I have even less respect for them now.

The wheels are really starting to come off the whole shitshow now. People have had enough and aren't prepared to put up with it anymore. Huzzah!

Surely the organisers can invite anyone they want to speak. Their event; their prerogative.

If people don’t like it (i) don’t go, or (ii) organise your own event. Then you’re guaranteed to be catered for!

I know some men claim to be feminists but somehow I think calling women fish, threatening to punch people and demanding to be accepted into womanhood with your meat and 2 veg, rather swings any man completely the other way on the rights-omitter so far into the mens rights zone that the needle breaks.

We have no assurance about the quality of Alexis' judgment in such matters and only evidence of the threatening rhetoric Alexis uses.

I am constantly surprised that posters keep supporting males like this as ‘women’. Males who are very attached to their dicks as this one seems to be. Aggressively so.

The fact that this male also tweets things like

trans girls have better pussy than fish. fact

fish = cis women. lol

And if you say they are a man then they (this male) will break your face.

And yet… posters are defending this person’s right to be included in a programme celebrating the progression of women. And the organisers have not acknowledged these tweets. Of misogyny (fish) and violence.

And posters are in full support of this person being lauded as a 'woman who has achieved' by that organisation.

A male who writes threatening posts to whoever doesn't validate their declaration that they are a woman.

While declaring that they will never lower their testosterone or get surgery which even some other women will accept as an effort that deserves entry into to being a 'woman'.

(NOTE: I do not accept this as any effort except for a male to have extreme plastic surgery for their own needs and it doesn't change their sex)

Well, the twitter name is the same. However, that person has locked there account so I cannot check. The image could be doctored, but it does fit with the other tweets.

When all was open to see yes, it did seem to be the same person, or a twin, doppleganger, maybe.

Imagine it was Trans festival and it was a feminist speaker who'd made derogatory comments on social media about trans people. Do you think Poet in the City would have issued the same statement?!
